9:22 The Kitchen actually has some of the most money in it for a non boss room. (I.E. Dining Room, Billiards Room, Rec Room etc.) A random Gold Mouse will drop a Green Jewel. A Speedy Spirit in the dishwasher will drop a Blue Jewel The oven will spit out a Red Jewel if the Fire Element is used on the pot inside.

I.... learned something cool today. For literally YEARS now, since I first beat Luigi's Mansion over a decade ago, I noticed a grave inconsistency in the values. I thought the red diamond's value was glitched... there were only two in the game, and they were between the diamond and gold diamond on the table. Yet... the diamond is worth like 5 million, the gold diamond is worth 50 million, but the red diamond is worth 5000!? Only as much as a single regular coin!?!? Surely it must have been an error. Multiple videos later, I finally figured it out. King Boo's crown is the one required scrap of money in the entire game. You must collect it to beat the game. If you don't know, there are multiple endings depending on how much money you collect, from Rank A all the way down to Rank H. Rank H's money ceiling is... low. Very low. So low that, were the red diamond worth an amount suiting its rarity and place in the money hierarchy, it might be impossible to achieve. This is precisely why its value is so low: To make Rank H not only possible, but easy with some careful planning. This may not matter to any of you, but it's an incredible discovery to me.

I hope you don't try this one on Luigi's Mansion 3 because to my knowledge there is a required pearl on floor 13 but all before that you can do it without collecting moneys I have yet to attempt anything past that required pearl though because as far as I know you can't copy saves.

You could have skipped quite a few of those rooms btw. The hidden Treasure room, the Laundry Room, The dining Room, Buff Atlas, the Pool Guy, Vase Man, the last Treasure Room, the room before the clock work soldiers, and one of the 2nd Floor Bathrooms. Those are all optional.

The rec room is unnecessary to beat as the next room requires no key, in fact quite a bit rooms you done can be skip or ignore. 1F Balcony- the one with Toad Laundry Room - just get Mario's Hat and move on Hidden Room Diner Room The Courtyard - just go down the well and clear it Rec Room Billiards Room Telephone Room Sealed Room and the 2 rooms that it gives access Jarvis's Room

It’s a little weird how every Luigi’s mansion game is absolutely stuffed with cash. Like does wealth have something to do with ghost/boos power? Because King Boo seems to have a normal red diamond on his head, and it’s not like it’s special because he’s lost them quite a few times now. Even the ghost woman from LM3 has a red gem around her neck, (haven’t finished it yet, so I might be wrong about something.) It just seems really weird to me.

This is funny that you're doing this challenge because what you're doing is what you have to do to get the worst ending in the entire game. And yes the worst ending is harder to get than the the best ending of the game. The least amount of coins you need to get the worst ending is 5,000 G. It's just cool to see this challenge done to actually accomplish something even if it's the worst ending lol
