The sprites for 2D Bowser are used in the escape sequence, surely it can't be too much harder for that to be added to the mod. Then again I've got no experience in switch modding.

I know a super cool way to complete the run with only one swap. What you gotta do is right at the start immediately swap into 3D and then never swap back to 2D.

Its interesting that the kicking 8-Bit mario does with Koopa Troopas is different from the kicking done elsewhere in the game, since you dont use the animation when kicking rocks and can't even kick the nut.
