I’m actually embarrassed that I got Giratina’s theme within that literal split second you had it up before pausing. I’ve basically watched so many fucking reactions to the Volo reveal, Giratina reveal, and Giratina Phase 2 reveal that it’s coded into my brain XD I also got a few others instantly but they all had notable start ups like Penny, Turo, Elite 4 and Legendaries. Giratina was literally one note XD

Basically Emma was a little orphan girl who barely had money, not even enough to buy poke balls, and was living in dark alleys with her Espurr named Mimi. Children would come by to protect and play with the two, but the mothers were concerned about their kids going to hang out in the alleys and called Looker to investigate. Looker invites Emma to work as his assistant so she can have shelter and food but she declined because she wants to stay with Mimi. Looker extends the offer to the Espurr but, afraid of adults, the Pokémon runs away. We befriend the Espurr though which cause Emma to accept the invitation. With Looker’s help, Emma learns to read, write, and do arithmetic. However, the next case they do has a Japanese tourist yelling at Looker, leading to Emma defending him while Mimi translates the conversation since it’s in Japanese. When the tourist reveals her Pokémon were stolen, Looker goes to investigate despite Emma’s pleads. She then reveals she doesn’t want him to because his Pokémon, Croagunk that we saw in Gen 4, passed away and this he’s defenseless. Even when they solve the case, Emma is upset because she feels like a financial burden to Looker even when he comforts her and says she isn’t. To help out, she takes part time in a cafe which was actually Lysandre’s, and she’s used in part of Xerosic’s experiments with a suit that gives her superhuman abilities, the power to override pokeballs, and change her appearance to anything. Xerosic also teaches her the basics of being a trainer and lends her his Pokémon. Since the Pokémon would rather play with her than fight, he would remote control the suit so she would fall unconscious for periods of a time and become robotic in personality. In this state she would commit crimes and steal Pokémon, not remembering anything after. Looker gets worried over her disappearance and after Mimi runs in to comfort the criminal Essentia, Looker realizes it’s a brainwashed Emma. In her state she tries to attack Mimi, resulting in her accidentally hurt looker instead and causing the suit to malfunction. Cornering her in the labs, Looker forces Xerosic to let her go, and has Xerosic arrested(Emma ends up keeping both the suit and his Pokémon). However, Looker then reveals to Emma he’s apart of the International Police and has to leave Kalos to continue his duties. He assures her she has a bright future, and buys the whole building they worked at so that Emma can lead it and still have a home. Now the lead detective, Emma promises to keep the city safe. If Gen 6 was more like this and the AZ story, I would’ve loved it
