Can You Beat MH4U High Rank Doing ONLY Key Quests?

This is where I left off from a month ago when I attempted the Key Quest only challenge for MH4U. In This video, I try to beat all of High Rank. Can I do it? Watch to find out.
Challenge Rules
1. No doing Quests except Key Quests
2. Can only do key quests ONCE
3. No Backing out with subquests
4. Solo Only (No Multiplayer)
5. No Keeping or Selling Items recieved after a failed quest (Must revert to last save)
6. No Reverting your save after completing a quest

Pink Rathian is totally toxic in the worst way. Her tail's pretty hard, so it's far from easy to sever it. And the only other Monster that's as agonizing to fight is Azure Rathalos; WHY IS IT FLYING SO MUCH?!?!

This is no mean feat. Defeating Snek solo in pretty much random HR gear is a pretty stellar achievement. Well done Hunter, hats off to you!

The Dalamadur was already in the MH4 Basegame since he is the final Boss of High Rank. So he obviously couldn't unlock G Rank back then. Making the first completion of the Dalamadur Quest the trigger to unlock G Rank might have messed up something for those who already did the Dalamadur Quest in MH4 and used their Safedata for MH4U. So Capcom just put a new HR Quest in the Ultimate Version to unlock the G Rank. They did the same thing in MHGU. There you have to hunt a HR Diablos to unlock G Rank.

tip: You can just 'backwards(opposite on where hunter is facing) + X' early animation to cancel SAED so you can keep your red shield another tip is always do guardpoint then press X + A immediately to SAED or AED(to keep your red shield)

Poison bombs do work on Kushala in 4U, I believe that you have to have them hit the face to trigger as that’s how I’ve poisoned it without a poison weapon.

i tip my hat to you, 4ult was my first game and i got stuck on the azure rath/steve quest hard. it was mostly due to steve just constantly being annoying, and me not understanding like at all how the armor stuff worked back then so i think now that i know better i could do better but it still is a challege i think

Kinda nice to know in world u can use poison smoke bombs on large monsters. Well now you know what it feels when u play a older title. Hub quests have fixed supply items

Been a hot minute since I looked at crafting for 4u but if health is an issue. Can't you turn those khelbi horns into a healing horn? Even with the break chance it can help. Especially since i doubt you'd be able to build a healing hh

Pro tip: never put a trap on the legs, go to the neck. Minimal hitbox shifting and it should be close enough to insta trap it.

They don’t scale. They’re designed with the assumption of two players in mind, so soloing them is a real challenge

Wouldn't urgent quests also count as key quests? If so the egg chain quests and some others count as well
