Something to note, in multi monster arena quest's when the monster you start off with reaches 20% HP the next monster appears this is scripted and always the same for every anomaly investigation in the arena so the reason why you were feeling like primordial only got to his final stage when shagaru appeared you were kind of right

You should wire fall less, when you wire fall you remove all invincibility so if you get knocked back and you’re on the ground you have invincibility

Wirefall actually has I Frames in it so there is some skill to it

This isn’t always the case,p. Not all knock backs and falls grant invincibility, and very few actually do. Wirefalling is best if you don’t know the difference between animations, and even if you do, you’ll see you still have to wirefall a lot

A few things on why Primordial on arena investigation is the hardest on the game -His last phase triggers at 30% HP which is the exact threshold that the second monster spawns -Aggressive as all hell in this mode -Cannot be Marionette Spider nor Flash Bombed But a few things do work on him -Toads of all kinds (sadly their res is too high in anomaly making Paratoads useless) -Puppet Spiders but due to increased Mount damage requirement has to be used or saved for later At around 280+ status dogs are completely useless and the only way for Buddies to use any meaningful status would be dual Gathering palyco with Status Up, Support Centric and the secret skill Buddy Power-up on one of them.

When fighting two monsters at once, remember that friendly fire is on for them. They can quite literally kill each other if you line them up right.

A few things to note: -Risen Monsters are the only ones that change after AR 280 quests becoming the EX versions seen in Anomaly Quests -Only Afflicted Monsters become Hazards in Special Investigations -Sadly Secondary Targets dont change much, they only have a higher Damage and depending on how many targets, 4 being the max, they have less HP instead -In Multi target Quests, the Monsters Appear in HP thresholds, i.e. when Primalzeno is about 30%-20% Risen Shaggy appears

i heard some monsters become hazards above 270 not just risen dunno if it's a rumor. Also special investigations do more damage and some monsters have bigger projectiles risen kushala becomes disgusting. I know valstrax and shaggy become their anomaly quest counterparts move wise.

I just realized… that primezeno in the hunt with the risen valstrax as well, was the smallest you’d ever fought. Meaning that was a WEAK primezeno for that level…. That’s scary

Size doesnt affect health also afflicted quest health is based on the level so stuff like dango weakener doesnt do anything to them

Size doesn’t change anything with monsters or Elder Dragons.

I'm curious where you'd heard that size affects their strength/health. It's not something I've generally known to be a common misconception. It's an odd error. Like other had said, size doesn't affect the monster's strength. Monster DO, however, draw their HP from a range depending on level and so on. So, at least in World (I believe Rise is the same), one individual monster's HP could be different to another of the same species and level.

I’ll give you props on lasting longer with them but I would’ve brought company if I’m ever in that situation which I have. Two palicos one healer and one fighter. And I made sure I added some tactical advantages when I bring them. All in all doing it solo and lasting long very good 👍🏼

For me the Hardest quest that the randoms gave me is Shagaru Malzeno and Velkhana in Folorn Arena. But my favorite one that i have is Valstrax Lucent Nargacuga and Malzeno

I have a recomendation for a vid for you. Do a playthrough of the monster hunter games you have, but with no repeat equipment, even higher ranked versions. Meaning if you used Low rank rathalos, you can't have high or G/Master Rank rathalos equipment (that only counts for the armor, you can upgrade the weapons just fine). That also means it might not be that bad, and will make you use different armor sets you wouldn't use before

Well done! That quest is definitely challenging. I probably wouldn't be able to beat it myself. Although, I called it! Risen Shagaru and Primordial in 30 minutes, with 1 faint, and in the Forlorn Arena. I called it, let's gooooo!

Anomaly Risen is so tedious, I couldn't push over 200 and gave up around 185 cause I got lazy. Big ups to you for pushing through! Especially on a solo run too, with multiplayer its fun but kept failing the quests cause sometimes random keeps dying.

It took me a while to get some of those mantles, but i was quite lucky with Shaggy, and got it on my second fight with them, but three in one quest is insane, i didn't even know that possible, although it does feel like for the most part, it's much easier to get them than world, i did have to grind Flaming Espinas for the hammer.

I am easily beating hazard primordial with gaurd 5 and emboiden 3 on lance it is taking me 17-20 min with my current equipment level which is not augmented yet. I found shagaru to be more difficult. But having both of them in same areana a a nightmare

If you do another monster hunter stories 2 challenges can you see if you can do a monster hunter world/iceborne monsters only? If you do I think it would be cool but you might need to get 2 of the same monster and give them some different element attack to reference there subspecies

Wants to do the hardest and most challenging quests and finds it dishonorable to fast travel to camp using the sleeptoad, but still runs evade extender and stun resistance. I get that these skills are really great and helpful, but I always considered them dishonorable myself especially evade extender, it allows so many moves to be rolled incorrectly. Great video nonetheless!
