@@EldianDevilPlays Thanks for the reply, and yeah, P3 can be a game full of annoying chores like that, but the rewards are kind of fun and the game design uses the Elizabeth chores to make you discover stuff about the game But yeah i did my first playthrought Orpheus only and i had a lot of fun, since I actaully feel like he is my persona, i spent a lot of points with Agility so im always the first to attack, and i had to go to the wiki to understand some stuff, but it lost most of fun of discovering the stuff blindly, while playing on Hard mode, so i was basically asking to suffer lol But im really glad i came accross your video, this carried a very important message and the story feels way more fun, plus helps me for when i get gamepass to keep playing

Yukari is lowkey just infinite phys spam, insane. Also, Oberon learns me patra and is very easy to get before full moon 3. He's actually the perfect persona for that fight and got me through there free on my blind run. him and archangel stayed on my team for a ton of the early game.

for the fight at 14:00, the reason he keeps hitting critical hits is because your party has the fear status. in this game and 4/golden aliments most of the time make it to where the enemy is easily able to be crit. the main aliments for this game that do this are fear, confusion, distress and charm. it works both ways so if you hit an enemy with distress youll probably get a crit most of the time

@@Rkmaster25367 oh man that was the worst LMAO. I had over 100 hours of footage. I have a 2 tb hard drive with nothing on it and it barely could hold all of it. I pretty much watched back my footage after every few recording sessions and wrote the script as I went along. I cut out all the parts I knew for sure I wasn’t going to use. Like grinding for example. Then made that into a video. Then I deleted the original recording. Then put all of them together. hope that makes sense lol. We should be friends! i LOVE . this video it was actually a very entertaining watch and pretty funny , i loved seeing how you experienced the game for the first time on merciless difficulty and with such difficult rules as well i also played p5 first , and was dissapointed when the social link mechanic gave no buffs at ALL . i was honestly shocked to see how little views this video has . this is a great video to start off ur channel dude !! in the future if you wanna do more difficult challenge runs with p3r , there’s a great video (even though it’s two hours long) called “Can you beat Persona 3 Reload without the power of friendship?” , it was played on merciless difficulty (im pretty sure) and mc only , they provided some good strats for the early game bosses such as the lovers or clairvoyant relic because their moves actually go in a specific order , its a good watch and helped me with my merciless run ! overall , great video and PLEASE . keep up the work , i love this kind of content and im sure many people do as well !!!

this was kinda the same experience i had when i first played persona 3 fes, without understaning anything about the gameplay, nor how personas work in general, i literally just spammed the rush button until i got to the fuuka boss, where i realized they had weaknesses, and i thought i just needed to grind like in pokemon, so i didn't even do most of the social links, i didn't do elizabeth's quests, and i didn't even fuse personas, so i just leveled up orpheus until like halfway through the game where i realized the power of google.

Pretty sure Elizabeth hits you with the 9999 damage megidolaon aka nuclear warhead because she looks at Messiah’s null phys and says ‘Nah fuck you’. To my knowledge you can’t have null/repel/absorb(counter doesn’t count) pierce, strike or slash, you can’t use barriers or items which grant you resistances, and she will use the 9999 damage funny bomb when under 50% HP(for the second time, as she will fully heal herself the first time). Not only that, she was WORSE in the original, as she would use funny nuclear warhead every EIGHT TURNS and quote from the wiki: When her health falls below 6,000, she will fully heal herself and ENDLESSLY SPAM the 9,999 damage Megidolaon until the protagonist dies. Elizabeth is fucking ridiculous, and nullifies a lot of the best personas in this game. If Siegfried is Goku then Elizabeth is Frieza Black.

I'm ngl, I was kinda confused when you first died and it let you restart from the entrance of Tartarus. When I first played the game (on merciless, like you), I was always told to return to title and reuse my save which just so happens to be from a few hours ago. The only exception to that was when you fought a boss.

Great video and really funny. Just wanted to let you or anyone else know that if you or a boss is inflicted with status ailments you can get guranteed crits or atleast the chance to hit critical hits is increased and crit amp does not stack with crit boost but apt pupil stacks with either of those. I love making persona builds and min maxing which is the only reason I know this.

I beat it in merciless in first try. Is what I'd like to say but I have played the old Persona 3 and the persona 3 portable countless times so it doesn't actually count. But what I noticed is, Reload is significantly easier than portable and Fes. Reload's Merciless is just Portable in Normal.

Do status effects EVER work on bosses in Persona? I know you can lower their stats, but I've never seen one be charmed, poisoned, put to sleep, etc. so I always skip those moves on my Personas 😅

Main bosses in persona (such as P3’s full moon shadows) basically can never get inflicted with status ailments but a decent chunk of minibosses can get inflicted by them (especially in p3) you can straight up poison stall the clairvoyant relic if you want to lol

I’ve noticed there’s some very niche scenarios where you can. But most bosses can’t be, so no one really uses status effects unless you literally have no other answers LMAO

5:50 this is why I thought persona 5 was so easy after play p4, with SL’s in p5 you get a special ability that helps in battle but in p3 and p4 you get nothing unless it’s your party members

Well you do get stuff for doing social links in 3 and 4. You get bonus XP for persona fusion. If you know what you’re doing you can make the most of your time and get your social links way up to take full advantage of the extra XP. This system is definitely more balanced than how p5 showers you with rewards for doing the social links, as you actually have to go out of your way to take advantage of these boosts.

Yeah I was visiting the shrine almost every day, I was terrified of not having a skill card I needed and soft locking myself out of the run LMAO I really have no idea how I completed all the requests. I was trying my best to explore everything the game had to offer though since it was my first play through.

it's not actually visiting the shrine 100 times, you just have to pray at the main spot (where you pay money) 3 times

This is a pretty good way to experience P3 honestly. While P3R is much easier than the other P3 releases (especially P3FES on hard) but if you're inexpererienced like I was, it could be a pretty hard challenge. (Though playing through P5 first should give you an advantage)

I did this exact challenge on my first play through, of p3r and it made the game so much nicer for me, merciless no google completely blind without playing the prior entries to the persona 3 lineup while my friends around me used google, for certain aspects and rewinded there was me only using google for persona fusions (to figure out what i needed to make a special persona i wanted) this game is a masterpiece and this video too, watched from start to finish 10/10 game, and W video

Also, about the Taiyaki. You need to buy some at the School Cafetaria at the front by the Lockers, then put it at the Dorm Fridge at the back of the Kitchen in 1st and wait until certain dates to put a Taiyaki in, then wait another day to grab it... Go to The Nightclub at night (if you had any courage), talk to a shady guy in the corner to buy one (don't remember which rumor is he Taiyaki one), and then use he URL from the shady guy on the Dorm Computer near the Receptionist Desk. Voila And oh, yes, some requests require you to buy those Rumors, so...

The blind rule just means no guides for the run! I have to save before every major boss fight and can’t go to an old save. So I have to come up with my own solutions for the boss fights or I soft lock myself out of the run!
