10:19 if I remember Getsu-ei is only slightly weaker than Brave Blade on Full Moom (i think the exact number is like 8% weaker or so) Kens joins and innately has Kougoan which is 350 power where most other Heavy Magic is like 220. This is slightly wider than the gap between Herculean Strike and Deathbound (230 to 350). Kens Theurgy actually has higher base power than most characters being 230 where most Theurgies are 180-220 (the reason for these low numbers is coz the damage formula uses both STR and MAG instead of just one or the other). Ken is also tied for 1st Place for Theurgy Speed being able to get it every 3 turns if you set up (or every other turn in Tartarus with Soul Fortune). For max Theurgy speed for him the requirements are like. Aoe Buff One enemy Debuffed Under Half Sp Having Charge/Concentrate and choosing not to spend it. I believe Support Skills gives the most Theurgy out of his Skill List.

As you were explaining the rules i thought this might be a "do all of Tartatus in 1 go" which might be an easier version of this run or not. Might be something to look into in the future, letting yourself utilize all the things banned here, but not getting any experience between full-moon fights or the ability to fuse and having to make sure the resources and money you make without tartarus can last you for a run of all 250 floors Ok yapping done, back to the video, this is gonna be fun! Edit: Also just checked but happy to see the Yakuza video also got good attention and it's not all just Persona 3!

No Off-Tartarus Run sounds pretty interesting. But is the Mandatory Battle Only Run possible in Reload though, unlike Nitsua's Run on FES. Also, 1. Rip money since you can't even sell Tartarus Treasures anymore :( 2. Growth Skills that passively gave Personas Experience is your Best Friends. Believe it.

How would they balance it? Do characters start at their join level or are they leveled down? If the latter do they start with Max Characteristics? Do they have their base tools changed like would Shinji start with Bash? Speaking of Shinji how would that guy be implemented if at all?

idk if its possible, but maybe a good one would be persona 3 without levels. So, u can just use the base level that the personas come with and cannot use normal attacks. With the only possible way of leveling up personas being by social link bonus. If the persona level up after any battle you need to stop using then free it, make another new persona or (to make it a little easier) use the book to take it again in the base level. And maybe, to spice the things, you can add the rule that you cannot repeat floors, so, use them well, because no repeating to farm your character level. I think would be interesting to see the possible strategies you can come with those limitations.

Mandatory fights only will put you to 79-80 for Nyx depending on a few small factors Solo mandatory fights only puts you to 92 for Nyx (can likely be 93) It is still as bad in Episode Aigis too I have a challenge run of both base and dlc which will showcase how the levels work between bosses. As far as base exp goes Peaceful gives 1.5x Easy gives 1.2x Normal/Hard/Merciless gives 1.0x

For a run that advertised "living in tartarus", he grinds a lot less than I thought. He does know that chests refresh every day, right? You can still be under leveled and just speedrun chests😂 All that 25 days just to sleep could be use for chest farming 👍

How come you decided to sleep every day rather than run Tartarus? Even if you already beat the floor guardian and have to wait for a full moon, wouldn't it be an opportunity to loot chests again and hope for some armor,weapons or items?

Great question!! I did go to Tartarus a ton, but honestly I just went as much as I needed to be able to beat the next Guardian Boss. I felt anything more than that was overkill and would’ve made the run so easy that it wouldn’t have been fun to play or entertaining to watch. Thank you so much for watching!

On the topic of social links: my hot take is that in reload: they're literally useless. Like oh sure they're a nice mechanic to break up the pacing, but from a gameplay perspective they're legit useless. All they do is giving your personas levels upon fusing and persona levels don't matter in reload. I had a level 16 arch angel in reload whose lowest stat was *55.* You just do it cuz you like the pave breakers. And remember the only reward in 3 is just fusion related, so if you never go to the velvet room like i did on my blind playthrough of 3, you'll never see it.

Its good because it save a ton of time on getting skills the persona learns as the Exp needed to level each time becomes extreme after a couple levels. For example the earliest Getsu-ei can be obtained is Rakshasa a level 20 however the problem is that its a level 15 persona at base so the time needed to level up is extreme but a couple hangouts with Yuko and suddenly its not that bad.

Not having social links was more annoying than anything else. It’s nice to get the social link bonus so you get the skills you want off rip. It also locked me out of Armageddon which just makes that end grind a lot less tedious.

In the same way you could say in real life friends are useless bc you can just wake up make money come home eat and sleep... Persona games, and especially 3, arent supposed to be played like old smt titles. They're supposed to be daily life simulators. Half the game is outside of dungeoning and literally is all abour the mc becoming more and more "human" as he goes along the story. Persona is more of a storytelling game rather than a simple dungeon crawler. So social links are literally the most important part of the game. Not everything needs to be a mechanic that makes you stronger in battle. And arcana burst is pretty useful imo especially for most players who are casual
