Without stat boosting items/moves absolute best case scenario Raichu at level 52 has 184 speed, absolute worst case Raichu at the same level has 107 speed. 77 is a massive range.

Michael completed a nuzlocke and didn’t even realise 1: Ozone never fainted at any point 2: he only had (in total), castform, mudkip, zizagoon, latias, and kyogre. All of them from different locations 3: the only Pokemon he actually used was nicknamed Edit: man this reply section has turned into a war zone. To all the people going “Um actually” and pointing at the quote unquote “rest of his team”, no that is not an excuse. Ozone was the only pokemon he actually used, minus a few exceptions where he had no choice. And even in those cases, he did everything in his power to not *actually* use them.

Random “fact”: everyone says Castform is based on a water molecule because of its general shape and Forecast ability. I totally agree with that, BUT if you look at Castform from the back you’ll see it has a third little bump on its stomach. So, if we take that as being another hydrogen atom, technically Castform more closely resembles a hydronium cation than it does a normal water molecule.

Just FYI weather ball was actually one of the best moves you could have gotten on castform. If u look at 8:50 u can see that in a weather condition the power doubles from 50 to 100 making it have more power than flamethrower scald and ice beam while making it flexible to whatever weather u want. Castform doesn't get a sandstorm (Or any other weather form beyond what it has) for a few reasons 1) It's based on a water molecule with it's three weather forms being based on the three states of matter (Solid for Ice, Liquid for water and fire for gas) 2) It's a teruteru Bozu doll a small paper doll that looks like a typical halloween ghost decoration. in japanese culture, these dolls are made to wish for good weather and, by hanging the doll upside down, wish for rain. 3) It's a pun on the phrase "Rain, hail or shine" an idiom that means something will happen whatever the weather. (an example of this idiom in use is: "Due to our large convention centre at school, the sports carnival will happen rain, hail or shine.") This is a double pun due to the fact that castform can change it's form to adapt to the environment and will battle WEATHER you like it or not.

Yup, it reaches 100 power before any weather boosts. That's still weaker than Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, and Blizzard, but Weather Ball is still a good substitute for the first two.
