Focus punch isn't actually super effective against shuckle, since the bug rock type combo it has actually makes it a neutral attack. All that damage you were taking from primeape and poliwrath is because they were simply too jacked for your noodle girl.

Acupressure, rest, toxic, and rollout probably one of the best movements you can give shuckle. It is a huge stalling build even if your rock attacks aren't too strong against certain pokemons typings.

I feel like Shuckle's stats would be good if you can stall the opponent by using leftovers and often going for protect every turn your not attacking than make sure to use something like Rest and than a Chesto berry to wake up from sleep and you should be fine

Shuckle can actually be one of the hardest hitting pokemon. I'm not referring to the crazy multi-battle setup. So my Shuckle aka H.M.F.I.C at level 100 has a defense of 605. A sp.def of 495? 48 speed and like 105 attack. So, my strategy is to use a power trick that switches the user's attack and defense stat. The H.M.F.I.C can knock out literally any pokemon.
