It is refreshing to see a challenge not just be "and now I performed a tough glitch/exploit and skipped a chunk of gameplay/issues" like sticking to "vanilla" gameplay makes it enjoyable and could inspire more people to do it themselves vs getting into speedrunning for example

i disagree, i like seeing how far you can break the game to achieve the impossible. well, in this case it wouldn't be that entertaining, but when the glitches required to do so are absurd, i prefer seeing that. like when astralspiff brought security breach to its knees like 400,000 times just to beat it without sprinting, and jumping.

1:32 the turret exploded becase theres a trigger that starts a self detonation timer to explode the turret. it is possible to not touch the trigger but im pretty sure you need to jump to do that.

3:08 it is possible yet very difficult to do 1-2 jumps instead of 3. instead on going to the gray pipe like you did. strafe right to land on a blue pipe instead(not to difficult but knowing how to strafe is useful but might be possible without.) then theres the hard part. you need to jump to a yellow platform to the right of the pipe and its very far so you either do 2 bunny hops so you have momentum to get there or it might be possible with 1 very good jump and strafe(doing either is very difficult and requires to be good at bunny hopping.) and after that you can just fall down to the catwalk.

Yikes, yeah that sounds pretty tough. It does sound like it would be worth doing to save a jump or two though. That was something I found with the game. Unlike portal 1, if you need to jump in this game, there's little you can do to get around it. Thanks for letting me know about this skip!

I love your portal 2 video but still 2:11 idk if you use tas strafing you might make it 3:00 you can strafe to that blue pipe and do circle jump to floor and just fall to catwalk saving 2 jumps 3:48 in previous room you can shoot portal past the fizzler cuz it has gap between the wall and it dosen't need any setup so you can bring cube with you idk if taht is exploit but if not then you can do huge tas cube throw so it lands in a second chamber 6:45 you can just stand on a edge of the portal shoot funnel there and drop down to button 7:20 you can do agin turret throw to catwalk down so when you later come you can grab it there and skip that jump

If you press space while falling off the bed Wheatley will think you jumped, so try to figure out how to get on the bed and it should be able to save a jump

I tried something like that but with the plant in the room and I wasn't able to get onto it without jumping first, so it may be the same for the bed.

@@MysticFlameYT it is possible to save a jump in repulsion polarity by using a turret to walk off of onto the gel (if you place it on its side and walk off of it onto the gel you can make it)

@@zerotwo6903 maybe, but good luck getting to the turrets and back with one without dying. That and I'm not sure it you'd have enough height to get up to the tunnel. I'll have to test it out.
