You actually can combine treasures in this challenge. If you open the map screen and then tab over to the right, you get to the treasure screen before you get to the inventory screen 😁

Sadly, many of glitches were patched yday. But a lot of ingame skips (not glitches) exist still ingame which I find wonderful.

im gonna be honest, after finding out you can kill ramon with just two golden eggs after dying over and over again (AND EVEN SWITCHING TO ASSISTED BECAUSE OF HIM) in his boss fight, i can say with a proud smile on my face that if i ever do another playthrough of re4, i will not be selling my golden eggs

Huge respect for doing a no damage run on professional, I just completed it on standard and that was already annoying enough. Granted that was my fault for assuming you regain health after each chapter so I played really recklessly in the beginning and was too stubborn to start over lol I had yellow health for most of the game

I managed to wait out the entire Village fight during my first professional run, and it was the most stressful shit ever. I guess Dead by Daylight looping experience compensated for the situation 😅

Waiting out La Campana is easier at the top of the ladder in the tower. Knife or shoot ganados as they try to climb up, when stuff gets too hairy just use the breakable floor for a quick escape. Bonus: if you have a grenade, ganados will probably be bunched up at the bottom, making going for the 15 easier too. Used this strat on my HC and Professional S+ runs. Not the fastest, but it’s reliable!

you should a Random Wheel(s) challenge where every time you get a new weapon, you must spin a wheel to determine if: *you keep the gun but no upgrades *you keep the gun but can only upgrade one thing on it (fully) *you keep the gun and fully upgrade everything *you must sell the gun to the merchant

With the scoping through doors glitch being patched, what are your thoughts on developers patching popular speed running strats? Would you prefer to leave them in or to 'perfect' their games? How do you think it will impact RE4R speedruns going forward?

A question I have is if a mod exists (not sure if one does yet) that lets you play the campaign as any of the mercenaries characters with just their base loadouts would you try doing speed runs with them like you did in the OG RE4 and which one do you think would be the most fun, get the best time, and which would be the hardest to use? love your content and keep up the good work

This is absolutely possible, the mods exist. You can play as for example Hunk, with his grunts and all. Store your weapons and use an item adder to make your starting loadout identical to mercs. No krauser bow available though :l

IMO it's more fun to watch if you don't immediately skip sections. Cause sometimes I'm like "man how's he gonna do this section" and then "So i skipped it without even trying". Maybe it's just me but glitch skips only make sense by necessity, or at least show how aweful it might be :P.

19:40 Waiting for the elevator is actually really easy, just outside tye elevator room there's a corner, where you turn left and there's a button there. If you sit in the corner between the elevator room and the button then it will only ever trigger QTEs, so you can just wait there, for a qte, press the button, repeat and it shouldn't come after you as long as you stay in that corner. Ps, I just realised I'm doing an assisted run rn, so maybe that's why 💀

For verdugo, I think that when you use the azote shower on him he run away after breaking the ice, even if you don't do any damage on him. That's how i made it out alive on my first pro run

Is there a glitch going around in the community where you teleport up a flight of stairs? This happened to me and I have a video of it on my channel but I haven't seen a single other person talk about it. I feel it could make speedruns faster by a sizable amount but I'm also unsure how to replicate it.

I can't get into speed running downpatch, it just seems so dumb to me. That's why I didn't get into speed running this remake, I knew the door skip rifle glitch would be patched out and I'm not gonna pay for the PC version when I have the console version, just so I can speed run down patch.

Capcom: makes a reference to a popular spedrun glitch of the original game in the remake Also capcom: fixes the only glitch that's highly improbable to be done by mistake and mostly used for speedrunning in a goddamn single player game. Boggles me how dumb is this decision and how there are people that actually support this since in their eyes if you got cat ears skipping you're a cheater... But the game has golden tickets so you can pay 2 win to get it either way 🤷

It's not super consistent but if you stop at the cryo station near the elevator room and just sit at the station you can get Verdugo in a near infinite dodge loop. Sometimes he'll get out of it but if you stand on the metal plate next to the station he should stay. Excellent for item and health management

Who do you main in Smash Brothers? Also, the challenge was "never open the inventory" not "never have the inventory opened for you", so you got through it in my book since you didn't actively go into the case at all. You didn't press tab willingly.

Yeah that restriction about the inventory being forced open is kind of a dumb one. If you accidentally overfill the inventory and it forces itself open but you don't rearrange anything then how is that any different from just not opening it?

Hey there, I have a question, since you and Dante decided to no longer do a race due to the massive and I mean MASSIVE difference in speed running skills, I was wondering, why not try instead a Death Count competition? Essentially do the randomizer and whoever dies the least wins, I feel it would be a more even competition, and would still be fun to watch due to the unpredictable nature of the randomizer. In the village fight you can just run for 5 minutes without getting hit if you take the route from the house with the shotgun, out of the window next to the shotgun, wait till enemies arrive behind you, jump down, run on the outside of the village to the other side, then run till you get back to the house, climb a ladder, push the two ladders to the ground, go back to the spot outside the window and repeat.

Re4 origina while doing this challenge: You can only use the handgun and the knife but you can heal if you find a first aid spray or a green herb. Re4 Remake while doing this challenge: you can use all the weapons you want, but you can't heal by no mean.

I wonder as someone who beat re7 and village on standard difficulty no problem but has had no real other experience with shooters if I could beat re4r on standard as well. I played the demo about 5 times now and it went... well one enemy at a time was fine but being chased by a one-shotting enemy as well got pretty difficult. The first 3 times I played it I did get through without dying though, so I hope I should be fine. The game does still cost 70$ and it would be a waste if I didn't finish it. Anyway; love your videos!
