When you play with Ada you can see Leon use tmp, riot gun and when you fight against Krauser you can also hear him using killer 7, when I played this in my ps2 I used to do this kind of run with "canon equipment" It was hella fun.

In the gatling gun room with the red cultist, you don't have to chase after him or shoot him quickly before he escapes. There is a gap on the walkway inbetween the railings that lets you drop down to the bottom floor. You can go back through the door to the staircase room and cut him off preventing him from running down the stairs and reaching the gatling gun.

Some people get weirdly upset when someone doesn't like the thing they like. I personally adore RE7. It got me into the Resident Evil series. But the fact people don't like it doesn't take away my enjoyment from the game.

I’m surprised you were able to complete this challenge since your practically stuck with a weapon and just a green herb you cannot keep in your inventory. I’m glad you were able to beat this challenge since I have been thinking about it and it looks doable now and gives me confidence.

the brazilian master rest did this challenge twice once with a merchant putting only an upgrade on the pistol without buying the upgrade for the bigger suitcase the second time he did it without upgrading anything without a merchant

a really good cue for me when i play this game, if a ganado calls u an imbecile, that means theres enemies behind u (like in the beginning) its a good word to look out for fr theyre saying something like "behind you idiot" but they ALWAYS say it when theyre behind u and all of the villagers at least have that line, chicks and dudes, its also the only use of the word even tho theres like at least 3 different voice lines of the same phrase that i can think of (one sounds like the dudes about to cry (0:45), one is quick and kind of quiet but gruffy (don't think it's shown in this video), and the other is the chick (1:29) which is the hardest to hear the word itself but when you know the line, its easy to remember what to listen for) the druids have a similar cue, they do a big laugh like a creep if theyre behind you (3:31) I don't THINK the military guys have a line tho i love those small lil details they add in the game like that to help players out u probably already knew this but just in case, i thought id mention it due to the start of the video haha + could help anyone else out whos reading

I enjoy this run. Since Leon dont carry a case at all any anything he finds is the only thing he can use to keep going. Lore accurate RE4 Leon probably only has Handgun,Shotgun, Broken Butterfly, Rocket Launcher.

i agree with you re: the characters of RE7. in RE8 i really didnt care about how the story ended up for ethan, i was surprised with the amount of people that were so emotionally invested in such a one dimensional character.

My enjoyment of 8 had 293% nothing to do with Ethan winters or his bitch wife or his terrible daughter. When I started the game I was skipping every cutscene to stick it to the fans who say “story in resident evil doesn’t matter” while heel turning and praising Ethan. Then I got to castle dimitrescu and was reading up on the lore and thinking about what Ethan was actually doing and I got really invested. He’s just killing some family who’s house HE invaded looking for his kid, whose children he THEN takes from Alcina before killing her. I got really invested in the lords themselves and for like the entire middle part of the game that’s what kept me going. All of them (Moreau is an exception) were well fleshed out and I wished we could have sided with Heisenberg. But then Heisenberg dies and the game is annoying Ethan centered family drama bullshit again and I didn’t even beat Miranda.

He can heal while taking green herbs they will be option for use near yes no but this is a no damage run so he is not suppose to heal

If you pick up a green herb, egg, or First Aid Spray, there is an option to use it immediately.

"Story in a game is like a story in a porn movie. It's expected to be there, but it's not that important" - John Carmack If the gameplay is bad then no one is gonna want to play or replay your game. I think this point is best shown by Naughty Dog, the Uncharted/TLOU games have the exact same "gameplay" and a lot of it is just being told to climb from one ledge to the next with no risk. Then TLOU2 came out and people hated it, even though the "gameplay" was the same, thus proving people didn't actually like the "game" they liked the "movie".

why bother playing a game when you're just in for the cutscenes and story? makes no fucking sense to me lol and i totally agree with waifuruns at that, im all about gameplay and hate straight lines in a game where it tells you what to do and how to do it and all that... love the stories, but they aint my main goal and i want to be able to do my own thing instead of running a game that i could've just watched due to you doing the same as evryone else. so in the end you played a movie instead of a game.

So a game comes a long where you actually got to put forth some effort to beat it and people lose their minds.

@@Spaz740 Pretty Sad if you ask me. i always loved features where it'll be harder for you if you didnt think into the future of the game while playing it. like for an example in Resident Evil Code Veronica X, you use a Fire Extinguisher pretty early in the game (i think literally at the beginning of it) to gain a Briefcase which you'll open later on if you do this and that, but you could also just continue the story if you dont backtrack, which was an awesome feature cause that pretty much made you look into area's you were before and look if theres something to get again or not. - cause to open that Briefcase you had to backtrack at a certain point to receive the lockpick. and later on you had to refill the Fire Extinguisher you used at the fire beginning to get to the Magnum. - tho i can understand the critic on CVX cause the game is buggy in a way, i had it happen to me... where the game told me that i could throw away that Fire Extinguisher even tho you had to hold on to it and if you played all the other games, you would've just thrown it away when the game tells you to. - sometimes this happened and sometimes it didnt. but i cant understand people that just wanna play a movie instead of playing an actual game. the reason why i loved Divine Divinity as a game, cause you were able to do alot but had to actually go a certain way with your abilities and stats to finish the game, but you had multiple options to do so, got me hooked quite alot, cause i actually had to use my brain and use my knowledge of RPG games to know what to do. :D this game era is still the best and i hate these games where you dont really have to use your brain, but just follow the path the game simply gives you... such a boring experience for me and esp. RE8 has ruined my beloved Resident Evil experience.

What if you combine gameplay with story without turning into just hold a button? Or a bunch of qtes, like what no more heroes does and how it contextualizes asassination missions, side jobs, and other activities to be part of travis' training, or how he pays for the rankings. Pretty much making it so not a moment of gameplay is not canon or part of the story.

@@haxkztasy I've become relatively bored of this era of games. If the game isn't just bland, it's trying to shove the devs politics down my throat. I've owned both Divinities for years now and for whatever reason have never touched them. Likewise for RE except the series hasn't interested me in awhile. The last one I really got into was the RE2 remake. People don't want to use their brains anymore, hence why modern day games are built to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Also why people get mad at video games without difficulty sliders. I can understand BS difficulty, but that's not generally what it's about.
