Please post the link to the mod in question. I, for one, would love to play as a goblin, using either magic or weaponry to show all of Tamriel that my race is capable of great heroism, too. Also, use Alteration, some modded Destruction or Restoration, and One-Handed, and you can basically play Skyrim as *Yoda.* Come on, who wouldn’t want to try that?

Would love for you to try out the Frostbite mod. It makes your character suffer from the effects of Hyperthermia in cold weather. You'll need to make sure you are properly clothed and have a heat source so that you don't die from the cold.

does it at least let you wear clothes under your armour? I found a similar mod that had more clothes that give more cold protection, but had no defense points and i couldn't put armour on over them.

You don't have to go through Volskygge to get Whirlwind Sprint. I normally just jump up the hill since that's where the word wall is

thats what i did for my 'All Shouts at level 1' run. Of course i didnt stay at level one, but i did start my hunt at level one and tried my best not to level up too much. i got to roughly level 13 and had all 20 shouts from the base game, minus the DLC's. the DLC's i did after the main quest.

I just kill a second dragon before I go talk to the Skybeards. When one of them yells at the ground to teach me to run fast, I spend the dragon soul to unlock it. Then, when he gifts me with his run-fast knowledge, I get the second word for free. This also works when Parthursnax teaches you to yell fire at people.

14:03 I'd recommend the replacement look mods because they're more beautiful, and load the game faster. For some reason texture pack creators somehow create texture packs that are 50% lighter, and more efficient than normal textures.

I would very seriously recommend trying the Forgotten City mod. Although the quest itself is relatively short, it's so well written that it won a writer's guild award (the first "game" to ever win this I believe.) So yes, "Can you beat Skyrim: the Forgotten City mod, at level 1? " I personally did this at level 1, so I know it can be done. Your race and gender matter a lot for this, and will unlock additional paths in this story. I happened not to choose any of the race+gender combinations that gave me any unique advantages. Even outside of making a "can you do this in skyrim" episode, this is something you really should do for yourself. I wish the rest of Skyrim was anywhere near this well thought out.

If you install combat mods it makes combat a lot difficult and challenging that the vanilla game. Modded skyrim is also a lot more fun to play if you can get the bloody thing to work in the first place
