Fun fact: The timing window for Perfect Parry is 1 full second on Easy, a fifth of a second on Normal, and a sixth of a second on Hard (60 frames, 12 frames, and 8 frames, assuming you play at 60FPS), while Extreme sets the window to a twelfth of a second (4 frames!!)

Fun fact, you can Parry's Knight's ground spike attack, and the resulting slowdow lets you quickly approach the hand before any other spike rings form.

Fun fact: You can get through the shield enemies by just y looping, you just need to be perfect, just be stuck to it, cyloop around, and when the shell launches, slightly wait before homing-attacking until the shield comes back, just stomp if you get hit

I was wondering how you would handle tails/amy and the towers and I forgot that HSS glitch existed lol. Regardless of what difficulty is being played you've shown it IS possible to do it without jumping once again. great video!

With Spin Dash. You can go pretty high and far with it. Literally skipping huge part of sections. I did them all with S rank and extra missions thanks to Spin Dash.

5:38 Correction if you psy loop quickly enough and finishing the combo with the first kick you should have 2 to 5 seconds to spare depending on your execution. That's how I did it on hard after a about a dozen attempts.

Those wondering what Final Horizon is, its Update 3, essentially a free DLC. Edit: Also, a good way to defeat them quickly is spam that zigzag attack thing *I forgot what its name was, I know, embarassing* but it takes a fat chunk of their health away

I know this is unrelated but here goes..... Here's my initial pitch for the next plot of the next mainline Sonic game: The Evil Genius Dr. Eggman, stumbles upon a potential concept of a maniacal tactic, an invention that can change one character, and switches their minds between said characters. If Eggman can't defeat Sonic because of his speed and endurance, then why not take those away from him. He can switch sonic's body with a weaker creature for example. Rendering him useless in combat and speed, but maybe better in other areas, like intelligence. While another being, like metal sonic or any other robotic or living being enjoys those Sonicy features. Then, Shadow will have to take his place as the speed element of the game. Meanwhile, sonic will have to resort to team CHAOTIX in order to figure a way to infiltrate Eggman's kitchen of inventions, in order to find a way out of this debacle. This will force shadow to do all that he can, with the help of his old comrades, Rouge and Omega, to avoid the bitter permanent outcomes that can come out of Eggman's devious plans. This will all be a diversion, as Eggman assigns sage to monitor and manage all the current happenings while he crafts his masterplan. Whatever it is.

Can you beat the final horizon without leveling up? Or Can you beat the final horizon without moving (so basically you cant use the control stick to move but you can use boost and all your othr ability and you csn turn the camera to change your boost angle)

Perhaps. The spindash is way floatier (and I think faster) than just boosting off a surface, so it'd probably work. If not; spindashing off the edge of the box (besides the problem rail) could likely reach the easy mode balloon I wanted to reach.
