Thanks for watching this video. One more thing to mention. I know I've gone a little heavy with the Sonic content, so with the release of this video, I will be doing less of it for now. I have a Mega Man marathon to get back to. It just means you'll see a Sonic video every now and then. There are plenty of Sonic games to make challenge videos on and Sonic Origins releases next month. With that said, I've decided to shelve the Sonic Movie 2 video. Man, this game is unnecessarily brutal when it comes to the Special Stages... For some reason, the devs decided it was a brilliant idea to give you just six chances at them, and since there are only six of them, that means you cannot afford to mess up even once. Because of that, I ended up using save-states just so I could see the true ending. If I ever play Pocket Adventure again, I'm not gonna even bother with the Special Stages.

I loved this game, there's nothing unique or special about it, yet I for some reason rate it as highly as mania. Speaking of mania I think the "Tilt and Scramble" one was inspired by the death egg zone miniboss from S3&K, just slightly.

I think this game is pretty interesting, I do like the 8-bit Sonic games like Sonic 2 and Triple Trouble more for how much more unique they are, as well as having more personality. But Pocket Adventure is closer in physics, and controls to the genesis games, and it mixes things from all the different Genesis Sonic games (even CD) in a very neat way, like mixing Scrap Brain with Metropolis zone. Also the novelty of say Green Eye Sonic in a sprite based game, as well as it being a predecessor to Sonic Advance. Anyways, Neo Geo Pocket/Color is a system I really appreciate, it has all the SNK goodness like fighting games, Metal Slug etc. and it was an interesting little piece of hardware. Having the graphics of a Game Boy Color, and the 16-bit power of a Sega Genesis, which helped with making animation in games look a lot smoother. Anyways really enjoyed the video, Pocket Adventure was a cool pick!
