EDIT: Turns out Razor and Zenon actually also did a playthrough of a mod that automatically kills you if you press left or right (in most scenarios). It doesn't seem to be a 100% accurate version of the game, with concessions made such as adding in springs, but it's a great way to simulate the run. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6nGknqhrsqNiKM A note on the 2nd Left Press: there does exist a zip glitch in Marble Garden Zone that could potentially be used to skip to the boss, but I'm an idiot so it's not mentioned anywhere in the video. I've yet to actually figure out how to get through it myself without horizontal movement, but it's very likely the second press can be shaved off using this glitch.

Can you beat any Pokemon games using only starter pokemon? So this means only 1 pokemon in party, but if its too hard, you can add in your party one HM slave pokemon up to 4 HM moves and they cant be changed and it cant be used in fights. So in short: Try first beat any game with starter pokemon only (It will be also your HM slave) If that doesn't work, Starter pkmn + 1 wild pokemon that will be your HM slave* * Extra challenge: If you have to get HM slave, try avoid giving all 4 HM moves, try keep it minimum.

Not counting the cycle required to get the Ocarina of Time, it's very possible to beat the entire game in one cycle. However, even with glitches it's impossible to beat the game on the first cycle. You NEED the Ocarina Of time to become human, and the Ocarina of Time is at the end of the first cycle. That's why World Record Runner EnNopp112 still has to do first cycle in his 1:15:59

Tried to beat Megaman 3 without sliding. It kind of worked after I beat Magnet Man, Shadow Man and Spark Man, but I couldn’t get past the rest of the game now. Top man and Hard Man’s stages were impossible to get through because their stages put you into a soft lock. Even trying to use Rush Jet to get through the sliding parts is a pain. But I will dare you. To try and get through Megaman 3 without sliding.

I was always under the impression Blue Robot Guy Who Looks Like Sonic From Sonic 3 And Knuckles For The Sega Genesis Which Is Known As The Sega Megadrive In Other Territories was just called "Mecha Sonic", it's not official but it seems to be the most widely accepted name, just like Silver Sonic from 2.

Yeah, the robo-sonics in general seem to have a lot of name confusion. At least Metal Sonic is near-universally called Metal Sonic. The other guys aren't near as lucky.

Well it's also because Metal Sonic tends to get more story-driven focus than Mecha Sonic. The most you see of Mecha Sonic are boss fights that don't usually last long. Metal Sonic has had at least 3-4 stories centered around him or with him in it. He also just tends to appear more. But idk, I'm not into Sonic as I used to be so I could be wrong about all that.

I'm thinking I might do a No Copy Ability run of Star Allies sometime. As far as non-Kirby characters are concerned, they must be filled by the Human Players 2-4 slots, with the controllers left idle unless the level dictates otherwise. Also, no reviving dead party members, and only allowed to add to your party when it's required. You might think it's impossible because of Meta Knight requiring you to use the Sword ability, but it's only "required" in quotation marks. If you stand on Meta Knight's platform, he'll fall down and throw your sword in the trash.

There's a great mod for this in sonic 3 air, its basically this but if you press ANY left or right input it kills Knux, also there's multiple changes to zones to bypass alot of the things getting Knux stuck, and you can press one of the main action buttons to TURN Knux around! The last feature mentioned can be toggled in the option

I had a Genesis d-pad break in late 1991 and we weren't going to Meijer for a couple days and I just rented a game (DJ Boy) and wanted to play it. +Exoria I love how the notion of electronics repair is so foreign to people now that people assume stories like that to be false. Back in the 90s shit like that was really common. That was a time when instead of sending a device to a company to be repaired for an extortionate price, you took that shit to RadioShack and fixed it yourself. Literally everyone knew how to open up their electronic devices. Literally every single person who owned one.
