Thanks for playing my fangame! Im creator for Megaman X Omega Blaster, I made these two versions based on feedback from the Megaman community and based on your feedback I think I did it right xD. About the Axle the Red stage, I put it as a test to see if people would like this style of stage because there were some who didn't like the more open style of the other stages and I wanted to see how that would look and I'm happy that it worked and have liked it. Regarding the difficulty of the fangame, it is possible to modify it directly in the options part of the game, with 1 - Easy to 8 - Hard being the most complex. Thanks for sharing and for having fun with my fangame :)

8:33 x8 is a case where you have to enjoy the game focusing on one character, then on ng+ upgrading the character one at a time, doing literally everything all at once is cosmically problematic, on first playthrough, i stick to zero and axl, maximizing zero as much as possible to obtain the ridiculously overpowered d glaive and sigma blade to make the second trivial. Instead of treating it like an platformer, i tend to treat it more like an expensive beat em up with fighting game mechanics, trying to keep the focus on the combo meter keeping it alive as much as possible before reaching the maverick as it will net me far more force metal in the long than individually picking up the first maverick, trilobyte. However, i then go to sunflower for free force metal before going back to boss order, this way i have at least a subtank and heart capsules. X8 demake comes off to me, as leaning more towards the platforming, however because of this, the route is changed. Trilobyte is much harder to beat because of his stupid armor, so instead, i like to go to dark mantis, pick up the armor capsule, then go to giga volt to get my first real maverick weapon, cause dark mantis without sunflowers orbital strike is ridiculous with the dm

… wait a second. That remake of _Mega Man_ looks like it was done using _Megamix Engine_ resources. I can tell by the enemy behavior. The slide is a little wack, but I think the original _Megamix Engine_ slide was like that, too.

Mega Man 15 is my first ever full rpg maker game, I'm still starting on the game developer world, so it's obvious that has a lot of flaws. Still, as a strong Mega Man fan, this franchise was part of my childhood and life, and I tried the best I could to put love on that game. Even though I'm just starting, this game took me more than a year to finish. About it being on SAGE, I was thinking if I should put there or not because the game isn't that great compared to the other ones on this event. But some friends convinced me to put on SAGE because it was decent enough to be there according to them.. and there it is! Please to everyone, see this game as someone who put their heart into making a game to celebrate the history of this amazing franchise so other Mega Man fans can feel that we fans are still strong in loving the franchise despite Capcom not caring much about it. And I promise I will get better at my games, I've learned A LOT from this one and will fix my mistakes to make better experiences because I really enjoy seeing people's reactions to my projects. Thank you to everyone that gave a chance playing, either to have fun or to make fun of it, it motivates me to keep trying my best to improve! :D And thanks to you for featuring the game on your video, it's such an honor to me! (Sorry for my somewhat bad english, it is not my main language)

Yeah, but then it wouldn't really be much of a 16 bit demake. They'd probably have to make it a 32 bit demake.

That Megaman 15 one amazed me, and not in a good way. The Mega Man X: Mavericks Final Trilogy manages to be better, and THOSE were working with freaking RPG Maker 2000 (the one that used to rely on a fan translation and was extremely limited in scripts next to even RPGM2k3!) on top of everything (Maddrex updated them to RPGM2k3 later, and is STILL working on the series now). If anyone wants a better RPG experience than Megaman 15, either Mega Man X Mavericks or the Megaman Sprite Game both have better senses of what they wanna be. (Warning on the Megaman Sprite Game: it's a joke game and you're requested to leave the lore and canon at the entrance. Also if a sign tells you something, and you disobeyed it, you just got locked into an ending.) I would even recommend Rockman Strategy with the fantranslation over this.

For what its worth you pronounced Gravity Antonion correctly. The Original game has a solid eng dub and the boss intros have an announcer. I am not surprised the bosses are tough in the demake because they were tough in the original. Thing about the demake is thr bosses are not a 1:1 recreation to throw off who played X8 (just look how Lumine 2nd form attacks you. Fucking hell lol.
@GottaBeFrank3 күн бұрын
Yeah... I stopped playing X8 before getting to Gravity Antonion.

No. Nerfing is never the option, if many inexperienced players want to play a specific game, they can just get a mode made for them in the game, rather than just nerfing something and then ruining the difficulty for everyone, if casual people want to play a game, then a casual gamemode should be made for them so that they can enjoy themselves while leaving veteran players alone.
@GottaBeFrank3 күн бұрын
I'm going to disagree with all of this. I'm not asking for the game to be tweaked to the point of being baby mode. I mean minor tweaks with damage output or speed of attacks. It would be on a boss by boss basis, rather than a one solution fits all.
@Chrisezo3 күн бұрын
@@GottaBeFrank Today I just played the MegaMan X8 Demake for the first time, and I am having a blast playing it, I'm a veteran platform game player, and all I've felt is challenge beating all the bosses with buster only, you even get achievements for doing so, and until you get the one of the chest piece armor parts you can really feel the toughness, but like once you get the Hermes Armor chest part and leg parts, even if you do not complete the set it should make most boss fights more doable, because the Hermes chest part allows you to recover some health that was taken away if you manage to hit the boss before it drains away, and with the Hermes Leg parts you can rely on invulnerability for a brief period when you do ground dashes, and after acquiring both the boss fights stopped being so close as when I didn't have them, and that's the whole point of games being difficult, you have to figure out a way to overcome that difficulty, if people are allowed to just ask for nerfs and stuff, then you get games like most MMOs and live service games now, where the first week a new boss that gets added to those games, the fight is real difficult but like after 2-3 weeks when people complain about it, then you see that you can take down the boss after every encounter because they nerfed it, and that just breaks the spirit of gaming for veteran people like myself, since I no longer feel the challenge nor a reason to get better at playing, and there is no shame for different difficulty settings existing in games, the people that think there is a problem with it, just let their pride get in the way and will most likely never even get good enough to beat those difficulties anyway, so maybe they shouldn't be playing those games. Also in the original X8, some of those fights were even worse, and you also have to keep in mind that you needed to deal with the annoying levels on top of it, so I am glad that the X8 Demake is how it currently is. So my point with all of this is, that games can fit all kinds of audiences, that's why there so many different genres and stuff, because its literally impossible to satisfy everyone, the most you can do is arrange some compromises, with difficulty settings or different modes being a couple of them.

I made a request to tweak the desperation moves. It really isn't that deep.

i dont think you played X8 if you had difficulty judging jump distance, cause theres no area where that's an issue since its still a side scroller. at most you get a few sections where you 'turn', but theres no jumping done in those areas. in fact, the only area with a jump judging issue is the start and end of Burn Roosters stage with the auto scroller, and thats just cause its a slow auto scroller.
@GottaBeFrank3 күн бұрын
Either way, I was just not into it. The jump distance also came from how weird the jump felt the whole time.
