In case nobody has explained it, the logic behind fusing Elegant Egotist and one of the Horn cards to get the Tri-Horn Ritual card is cuz Elegant Egotist lets you turn one Harpy Lady into Harpy Lady Sisters, a monster made up of three Harpy Ladies bassically. So, I guess the logic is that you combine Elegant Egotist with a Horn to turn that one Horn into three horns.

IMO the fact that neither the game nor the manual tell you how to do it makes me think of microtransactions. Like, it's in the game, but unless you buy the guide, you can't access it. Of course, you can look it up online, but back in 1999 that was a LOT harder than it is today. Back then, even having a computer with a working internet connection was relatively rare. That's why Bill Gates giving every library a computer was such a massive deal back then. It probably did way more good for the country than many would expect at first glance.

Iirc egyptian blue is one of, if not the first, blue dye ever recorded in history. It has a lot of cool properties, and is even used in some forensic science today.

The vast majority of people until just a few hundred years ago had to get Lapus Lazuli or Azurite from around what is now the Middle East. However, Egyptian blue was a synthetic pigment formed from silica, lime, copper, and an alkali to form calcium copper silicate. We believe it was still fairly expensive, but it was incredibly prominent throughout Egyptian items, and even reached other areas within the Mediterranean coasts. Though, Sadin’s clothing would’ve probably not been blue. As the pigment was used primarily on stone, wood, plaster, and other non-fabric materials. Most likely the pigment would be very hard to take into a fabric.

Forbidden Memories' rituals use specific monsters, as in literally you cannot use the ritual unless you have monsters with those names on the field, which is the same as regular YGO fusion.

The reason why is simple, it checks base attack 1st, then if the field gives them an advantage 1st, then checks if they are set spells or traps, and if the attack will give them a win, it doesn’t check for equip cards, and guardian stars until after that step, so they may just ram into your cards and beat themselves.

23:36 slight addition to the trivia! It's also available in The Sacred Cards. In that game, MoSaD requires Mask of Darkness and 1 other monster on the field to be tributed before you can activate the ritual spell, which summons MoSaD out of thin air.

I think they use Elegant Egotist to fuse with the horn cards to make the ritual because Elegant Egotist's effect is to triple one harpy into three so when fusing it it triples the one horn into three. Crazy run, I've never pulled off a single ritual and you did a whole game.

Jono, old video but noticed something: the opponent will always place a 3000 atk or more monster in attack position. A little trivia: only the original attack matters: they will put twin headed thunder dragon on defense mode even in an umi terrain and keep a blue eyes white dragon on attack position even with spellbinding circle.

This channel is such a good find This is exactly how i used to play this game back in the day with my 2 brothers, we would each pick a theme and build our decks around it. Things like the 3.5k dragon or the thunder dragon we considered cheating so getting a theme and getting lots of equip cards was the way to go. We could never make rituals work, we even had an unofficial guide, but i guess whoever wrote that, just made stuff up on the ritual part, since we thought we were just too dumb to understand how it worked, but seeing this video i guess they just didnt put the correct card list for each ritual

@@Jon_Oh My only guess is that I've been using a voicepack mod for XCOM that lets me have Seto "Richboy" Kaiba as a squaddie. He's absolute hysterical, horribly missing his shots against aliens then declaring "I'VE JUST COMPLETED ANOTHER FLAWLESS TURN". I also generally enjoy challenge run type content in games, so the overlap isn't impossible. Whatever the cause, I've been loving this content. :D You make it very understandable for people who don't understand the game particularly well.

At first I thought this run was going to even rougher early on, but when I saw Cosmo queen is one of the first ritual monsters you can even get access to at least you had something worth all the hard work keeping multiple weak monsters on the field. it is kind of neat the ritual summoning animation use different colors if your insane enough to bring the monsters out through ritual. I was fully expecting a game like forbidden mem to only give the ritual monsters that aren't even 2k or maybe even millennium shield if we are feeling spicy at the start of the game and tell you to have fun. There is an argument to made that be kind of them if that was the case as the games trying to stop you from trying to ritual summon early or at all. At least there's the only positive to ritual summoning is you can attack with all the monsters you piled onto the field than get another attack when you do the ritual.

Rituals really got done dirty in this game, huh? It's like they combined the worst parts of the base games fusions (needing specific monsters), rituals (needing a specific spell card), and synchros (needing the monsters to be on the field).

Gods, the patience needed... congratulations! The information on each duelist is useful too, particularly the fact that the final boss has no Spells or Traps so it's actually easier than the boss prior... assuming you can find/build your beatstick in time. (Seriously though, the end has *6* matches back to back... that's _grueling_ )

That one will be such a long video to make! The problem will be that i don't believe its actually possible without a specific RNG seed Opponents need to make 2 fusions minimum for a deck out to be possible and your limited to 1 card per turn. Even if my entire deck was BEUD, a duel with Niitemare would need him to make a Sanga + Dragon or a Red eyes + Meteor dragon fusion. To even have those cards in the deck is like a 0.78% chance per card
