Being able to relate better with a culture and helping you to "bond" with people - well said!

One of my fav benefits is being able to understand who is talking crap about me or get some juicy secrets 😋

Honestly that’s not true in the US for most jobs. Most will pay you less

Well apparently you don't know Spanish or Mandarin- because that definitely would help in a location with high percentages of these speakers. 💁🏿♂️

In reality, it does not get me a job. I know an average of 10 languages, applied for full time jobs that pay well but get fewer interviews and more rejections, especially in graphic design. As if recruiters are insecure and intimidated by me being a polyglot like my dad used to say about me so they hire people who are bilingual or monolingual instead. I guess I need to leave it off my resume and give it up for them. Hiring managers and recruiters in this field are jealous and think of being multilingual as overqualified yet they deal with clients and stakeholders from other countries. These people are nothing but hypocritical.

Nah, it just makes it seem like you're lying. Or that you _think_ you can speak 10 languages, when most people making that claim only know a few phrases in other languages, and think they speak it.
