I have an idea for an experiment if you want it. I call it "Planned Community". -Unlimited money, all assets unlocked -A terrain'ed map (not the flat grass canvas map) -Either 2x2 or 3x3 map tiles unlocked -Must start with time paused. -Must build and zone the entire city with time paused. -Must fill the unlocked portion of the map as much as possible, within aesthetic preferences of course. -Must not start time until everything is completed. -Once time starts, you may not change ANYTHING. Not a zone, not a road, not a traffic light or lane assignment. -Then just see how the city unfolds.

Thought of another, simpler experiment idea. Build a city, but for the main corridor roads throughout, use two one-way roads in opposite directions, with one square-width separating them in the middle, and then line that in-between area with solar panel car parks. Power the entire city without needing a power plant.

build a city like one would usually, Roads and services. Then, lower the terrain. how does it function? Do the houses still build despite the steep terrain? How messed up does it get?
