Many argue that a narcissist cannot be healed. Obviously, there are degrees of narcissism, but overall the attitude is that it's best not to have a relationship with a narcissist. Narcissistic Personality Disorder has even become a diagnosis. The reasoning is:
because people with this condition present with a great deal of grandiosity and defensiveness, which makes it difficult for them to acknowledge problems and vulnerabilities.

You can’t solve a problem with the same level of conscious it was created , so I feel the cure for narcissism lies in elevated consciousness. Also honestly I truely think the solution lies in empaths( a real empath) we have only just recently started learning about empaths so I think the more we learn about what an empaths full capabilities. I undertsamt these days that being an empath has gain a lot of popularity so there is alot of bad information out there about what an empath really is and how many people really are empaths. But I can say if you have to constantly state your an empath, more likely your not or either probably an unaware covert narcissist. But it the true extent of an empath will one day hold the key to curing narcissism
