I am now in my early 40s, I had wanted to go to law school after I finished my undergrad degrees (I did 2 concurrently) but due to financial circumstances was unable to. I have been in the IT for the past 15yrs but I have always wanted to be a lawyer since I was a child (my barbies were almost always lawyers going to court to defend the underdog). I appreciate this video as it reinforces to me that even though I am older I can still follow my dream to go to law school and become a lawyer.

I am a heroin addict currently living in a palm grove in Texas, and thus has motivated me to stop shooting up and spending time and money on heroin, hurting my body and mind, and go and study law. The palm grove is nice and quiet when I shoot up, but I sink into my opioid stupor dreaming of being a lawyer. This video has motivated me to get out of this palm grove of heroin, needles, and whores.

In America it’s more difficult to get into law school. If I were still in Jamaica I would already have my law degree. However because my undergrad degree was a 2.80 I now have to finish up my master’s degree; then take the GRE or LSAT to get into law school.

A lot of young people know what they are doing just coming out law school 🏫 Sometimes the older person just stepping into any schooling or job might not be the best pick in some cases as prejudice goes both ways when choosing someone to represent you and your case.

I'm an educator for 2 years plus. I believe that if I have the will to study law, nothing stops me. However, I think I can only work part-time or volunteer for lawyers because I will be a full-time educator in Malaysia. I didn't have any foundation or study law at all before and currently, but, after working as a teacher for two years plus and studying English, Communication, and Education for 7 Years in 3 IPTAs in Malaysia, I think I should start my recent passion/interest, which is the law as I think I am very, definitely interested in law after I watch all matured law students KZbin. I hope I can continue to be inspired by my lawyer friend who had worked for so long! I hope that You can give me your support and advice me if I can continue with my new passion/interest in the law course/area as the law course is very new for me!:D
