Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, not that I am aware of and sadly they have discontinued this model. There is an updated model with a larger battery but it is more pricey. Other brands like goal zero, jackery, anker, blue yeti, hyundai, atoim all have models but are muiltple price points above this. There are cheaper generic brands but I've found them lacking in power output, shoddy solar chargers and having poor inverters. There was another model that I did purchase that I haven't used regularly due to these reasons. I'll keep an eye out and update you if I find anything.

Nope, pretty sure this is a safety feature in all scooters.

Yeah overheating and lithium batteries don't mix...last thing you need is a short, motor cut off or a fire while riding so I wouldn't be doing it. Always safety first!

Did you use the charger to charge the scooter or DC directly?

Charger. Would be great it you could DC charge and reduce efficiency loss but not sure of any solar generator that has a DC output over 12V - well one that I'm aware of.

They do have a website and do sell on amazons but I have noticed a price spike. Guess depends on your region. Customer service was fantastic as I had a faulty unit initially that was replaced in about a week.
