@@notavailable8955 it’s not lazy, it’s the fact that the game has over 400 cars, that they would need to model different hand movements for almost every car in the game, in order for it to look right with the steering wheels being difficult shapes, and sizes. It’s just more easy to make the wheels rotate a set number of degrees, so you don’t have to make new animations everytime a car gets added to the game, just copy and paste. You ever notice why the hands in Horizon tend to clip into the wheels when turning, or just look slightly off? That’s why. This game is easy, since the hands don’t show on the wheels, therefore making whatever wheel rotation you would want, easy to implement. Any plus, the Horizon/Motorsport series is an arcade racer, where say, Gran Turismo would have the full turning motion, since it’s marketed as a Sim Racer, like Assetto Corsa, as they have the full turning motion too. It’s not because the game devs are lazy, it’s just because Sim Racers, and Arcade Racers are two different things.
