Indeed, Lebanon the most beautiful country in the Middle East, and the last country which managed to remain Christian (with Christian majority) until the 20th century (besides of South Cyprus)... eventually, Lebanon is being ruined as well, you know by who (If I mention that terrorist organization under a "religion" title, utube might block me). The amount of Middle East Christians living in the Middle East has dropped to ~5% after ~1,200 years of invasion of that terrorist invader organization....:/ Hopefully beautiful Lebanon will blossom and shine again soon, in our generation

You must know that the heart of Israel is bleeding, for Israel Lebanon has always been a friend, a beautiful sister. The name Lebanon is mentioned ~70 times in the Jews Old testament, Lbn means white, after the impressive snowed mountains of Lebanon. Also, in Hebrew Bakhur ke Erez, means a boy impressive, beautiful and strong as the Cedars trees in Lebanon. Old Testament Psalms 92: "The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God" The righteous will flourish in Lebanon soon and will grow high strong and beautiful as cedar

G’day from a Lebanese born Australian who regularly goes to Lebanon. Zuz, the majority of our people have a habit of living beyond their means, wanting a lifestyle they can’t afford and expect others especially the expatriates to pay for it. If Lebanon is to prosper and grow, corruption must be reduced drastically, food production must grow and people get over keeping up with the Jones’.

The word Lebanon comes from the hebrew bible. In hebrew it means- "2 times white" that represent the topographic view of the area with the lebanon and anti Lebanon mountains. In early times the relationship between Israel and Lebanon were excellent. So much so that the Israelies built the jewish temple in Jerusalem with wood that was bought from the lebanese. Its all written in the bible. Also, archaeologists found pieces of cedar tree (that exist only in lebanon) in the temple mount. Throghout the ages there were a lot of jews living in Lebanon and there are still remains of the lebanese jewish community in Beirut, Hasbaiyya (حاصبيّا) and other cities and villiges. I challenge everyone to go there and see it for themselves. According to reports from that period the relationship with the jews were great. I really dont understand why the Lebanese do not develop any relationship with the Israelies. Its just doesnt make any sense.

some lebanese hate zionist expansionism and are supported by Iran while the rest hate islamic expansionism and are supported by the USA/france, the entire civil war started because those damn palestinian militias wanted to take over lebanon, back then many lebanese leaders asked the israelis for help since lebanon was almost lost to those militias and thankfully they were driven out and the rest disarmed. most lebs tend to forget that they killed each other 100X what any israeli soldier killed and mutilated each other with knives in a way no israeli soldier has the guts to watch let alone actually do, but since hating israel is funded by Iran through Hezbollah some of the public won't allow peace negotiations to take place unless their sponsors say so.

Not really. Lebanon was first mentioned in the epic of Gilgamesh, ie ancient Babylonian which is 1900 BC. It was written pre alphabet ie using the syllabic Cuneiform language. so sad situation, the last Christian country in the Middle East (besides South Cyprus), ruined, as well :/ it is the most beautiful country in the Middle East, and it has an amazing history and archeology

Lebanon is a secular country with a Christian president. Many churches, many mosques. you can wear a bikini or a hijab. Even Friday is not off, like in Europe. You can find wine and pork in all supermarkets. The country is secular and doesn't favor any religion over the other.
