I lived in beirut all my Life and i can tell u every Dish made in tripoli is 50 % better ( Of done by the right people ) Even for Beiruties the Good cooks have some kind of influence by the tripoli kitchen . In Beirut they tend to make ebery thing with tomatoes wich doesnt makes lebanese food any Special cause all the rest of the world coock with tomatoes wich is very easy . In tripoli they cook many main dishes with yougert and there are many diffrent types for each Dish .(ماعز ،بقر ،غنم ،مدخن ..... ) I have also went to South of lebanon on many occasions not like a small visit but one that lasted for 1 month .I Can also tell u that u canot compare Tripoli food ( Expert Home made ) to any food 🤣🤣 and the sweets is some thing else i swear people in South Lebanon and Beirut most of them dont even know real sweets , They dont even know the taste of kashta like my friend im beirut thinks thats Safsouf or Intabli put for him real kashta In his arabic sweets 🤣 Real Kashta is only imported from tripoli ask any Desert maker .What they put for them is milk powder ,Sugar ، نشاء , Water ، ماء ورد Etc That is not kashta guys 😃
