I got my last bottle of eagle rare at my Sam's club and their are a few Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond 7 year on the shelf at a terrific price

Sams Club starting price gouging in several regions now, mostly for allocated liquor. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Elmer T Lee for $199 and Weller Antique 107 for $150.

I've scored Eagle Rare, Russell's Reserve Select, and believe or not but 2 Sam's in my area (Miami) even just had Pappy Van Winkle in them. ALL at MSRP or lower. The key is to hit them hard and often.

I recently got a Sam's Club store pick of Knob Creek 9 year 120 proof for $44....Great bottle, but here in Grand Junction Colorado the whiskey selection at Sam's sparse at best, but prices are right.... Wild Turkey 101 I got there for $18.

The Members Mark Canadian is a drain pour. The Kirkland 6 year Canadian is the only one to buy!

Without trying the members mark I would probably agree with you. That Kirkland 6 year is a great mixer for coke for the masses.

Pendleton Whisky is terrible but Alberta (where it's sourced from) is the closest it gets in Canada to the "American West", plenty of cowboys and oil riggers

Where I live, no. Sam's Clubs aren't allowed by state law to sell spirits. Oddly, though, Costco can.

@@TheWhiskeyCove Nope. I live in Alabama, and we have a state-run liquor business. We have state-run liquor stores and the private liquor stores have to buy their product, in almost all cases, from the state. I tell you- it's tough to collect whisk(e) in this state.

I see quite a few of those knob creeks in Colorado and there’s one store that gets great ones in all the time so I generally stick with those.
