I have intermittent esotropia, my left eye is turning inward, which just started in the last couple of years. I’ve seen specialists in my area, and none of them have given me any eye exercises to do, they only recommend prism glasses, which I hesitate to use because I want to try to strengthen the eye muscle. CT scan of the orbital area showed a thickened left eye muscle two years ago I don’t know why they don’t want to give me any exercises to do, I found one on the Internet, and started doing it, and found out from one of the doctors that it’s for an eye that turns out Ward and I shouldn’t be doing it. 🤦🏻♀ Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!

Kinda the same. I'm 46 and developed an eye turn 1 year ago. Very frustrating. Prisms didn't work for me so I went and got Lasik. It helped a lot. Since I have an eye turn it took nearly 6 months for my left eye to stop suppressing and try harder to function properly. It's still not 100% but it's almost there. My question is what eye exercises would be best for an adult eye turn? I'd like to keep my left eye as sharp as possible. Any at home ideas?

My 5 Year old has his left eye moving to the left. Our doctor only suggested one exercise: Having him focus on a point (like the tip of a pen) as a bring it slowly to his nose. Is there anything else i can do?
