Great video as always Joe , for my favourite paste that has won me a good few matches I use marine halibut groundbait for my mix , two thirds groundbait one third gluten, and equal amount of water , mixed the day before match and froze, when it’s defrosted it is a lot more stringier and perfect, so yes you can freeze your paste 👍

Good to know not only me couldn’t get a bite on paste recently. Every venue I’ve been lately has fished terribly in matches. (Any theories on why this is?!?!). Love the videos. Can’t wait for your video on the scalded pellet paste. 👍

Think the fish are really struggling and are stuck in limbo having not had chance to complete spawning. We need some warm weather or these fisheries could have issues with the fish. Tough time of year for fisheries at the moment

Many years ago before you could buy paste mixes l used to make up big batches. Enough for 10 matches and split it and freeze it. Won more than enough matches to be happy to use defrosted paste.

I was barbel fishing on the trent and hadn't had a bite I was sorting through my bag and found some very moldy meat so tryed a piece on the hook. Ended up with 3 barbel on it

Kept telling you to freeze it joe, I use gram flour to bind it and I've not noticed any sour smell when it's defrosted.

I haven’t, I have used salt though and I know some add sugar. The beauty of paste is your imagination is the only limit on what you can try!
