I’ve seen Gunner Farms. The best was at Spectacle Island. The trick was positioning where the Gunners drop. You want them to drop into water. The water has to be deep enough they can’t use weapons, but not so deep they drown. Basically, treading water. Then use a Minigun to mow them down. Take Chems to boost INT. Wear +INT clothes. The key is before you begin, and open the cages and start firing, is to craft caltrops until you proc Idiot Savant rank 3. Then go to town. I had an idea for one in Sanctuary that had conveyor belt floors, feeding bodies into a conveyor belt that runs all the way to the water, which drops bodies into the water. The water current should move the bodies far enough away as to prevent massive slowdown in FPS during the cull.

Did the same run: set up 3 levels of gunner cages in a straight line in 2 rows, ended up with 36 cages per side in a straight tunnel configuration and just went with explosives all the way, building bottlecap mines and buying all the mines, grenades and missiles from the vendors i set up, much faster to kill everything when you can just unlock the cages, have over 70 gunners walk 2 steps to the front and have my mines and a chugged grenade pop while i shoot 4 missiles into the masses, would almost every time wipe the whole camp of gunners, repair the cages, repeat. it is 100% an absolute psychopath run

Instead of drinking your inventory water, just put in one in ground well. You can heal up indefinitely from pumping one, and they're super cheap. They also add a few (4) bottles of water per day. Which you can sell, since you won't be chugging it all to heal.

Normal routine for me. Open new settlement site, build a bed, build a Hand Powered Water Pump, build a red toolbox near the Workshop (for storing purified water). P.S. You can build a Water Fountain to drink purified water (or in survival to fill empty bottles with purified water), but it does NOT produce water each turn and store in in your Workshop.

When setting your stats at the beginning of the game (The Vault-Tec Rep talking to you) it doesn't matter what you pick. But I advice to set your INT to 10. (You can change your stats later when before exiting Vault 111.) Kill all the radroaches in the vault and you will get to Level 2 as soon as you enter Santuary. Only in Survival Difficulty of course.

Great video, but it would have been less annoying and painful for you as you played if you didn't max out cap collector since of caps would have been hiding uner the floor. I'd estimate that there would have been nearly 1milion uncollected cap

there was quite alot of caps I can tell you that I got about an roughly an extra 500 caps each time running the circuit thanks to that!

Early on gunners are the best, but could an animal be better later on because it doesn’t have to generate unique equipment?

well gunnner brigdiers are level 96 so give the most exp and colonels are level 84 both with idiot savant give huge exp
