Thanks, for having the review! I have looked at these tools a number of times and wondered how good they would be. But I agree, if two tools are square then one will not draw a more square line than the other 😂

Exactly! I felt confident that these (and my other purchases) would be functional and worth the money. Totally happy. I'm on my third order already! And thanks for the support. Comments help grow the channel :)

I purchased several tools from BangGood that I came across on “Flash Deal” pricing. So far my top favorites that I currently recommend are the Hongdui Planing stops for use with a Festool MFT/3 table, the Hongdui 2 in 1 carbide scraper, the Hongdui linear arc scriber and the DrillPro KT-R1 router template corner tool jig. There are several more I purchased that I just haven’t spent enough time with or we’re not delivered perfect but needed a little work. I’m very satisfied with the build quality and finish of all my Hongdui tools which are exceptional. The measuring tools look nice but I’m already own what satisfies my needs. Nice video.

So true Juan. It's not impossible here in Canada to get Woodpeckers products, but they become even more expensive when exchange and international shipping are factored in. Nice to know there are options!

I have a number of marking and measuring tools from Banggood. Some of the brands they sell are consistantly good, and some are hit and miss. Are they as well made as Woodpeckers' tools? No. They use less material and use photoetching rather than laser etching. Will they do the job. Most of the time yes. I say most of the time because I have gotten a couple of crap ones. I started buying Banggood to compare them to my Woodpeckers and PEC tools. For value it is worth shopping Banggood. Don't forget to shop at home. Banggood isn't always the lowest price. I have seen things like clamps at much higher prices at Banggood.

Personally found WP stuff to be for woodworking / cabinet maker level work … made of aluminum so a bit fragile and soft. Some people live to display the stuff like art… some people shops look like museums for tools. I find WP to be accurate but a bit delicate and of course overpriced. My biggest beef with WP is their delivery options … here to Canada it is about $100 cdn for a single order. That’s with UPS. If you choose USPS it’s something like $140 cdn. I simply don’t get that pricing. For an online only company you’d think they’d figure this out and have realistic rates, I just ordered some drum clamps from the USA since they were not available here in Toronto… poor distribution… the online seller had two options with FedEx. Express was $39 …. A far far cry from WP shipping rates. The Banggood stuff I’ve purchased seems equally delicate. One nice miter gauge from Banggood comes without the fence so by the time you add the fence and shipping you’re awfully close to a Canadian made Jessem . At least you have support and a real network. With Banggood you’re pretty much on your own. My opinion is Banggood is a false economy. Now if you get the stuff for free that’s different but most of us gotta pay. Frankly I’ll stick with Lee Valley for must things. You can get similar quality.. keep money locally. Support employees and get good service. On occasion they have sales which makes the cost diff minimal.

Very cool. Thanks! FYI - the company is called Woodpeckers - not Woodpecker.

Bought one. The lines and numbers are not in contrasted colour. So no chance to read them
