Can you have a good night out in... Banbury?

We cross over the Oxfordshire border for the first time on the crawl as we venture into Banbury and take on 15 of the town's pubs in one evening!

The Pontings building was once an independent off licence, which is now in Tramway industrial estate! I'm not sure it was ever a pub. At least, I don't remember it being so, and I've lived in Banbury my whole life.

My wife found this video and Banbury used to be famous for it’s number of pubs ( Around 200 at one point ), it's great to see someone from out of town doing an honest review. We have a great selection of pubs in town.

The old wine house I don’t think ever was a pub it was a wine shop before it was an estate agents. There is also old tunnels that are under ye old reindeer that go up to the Cromwell and other areas of the town that were used by Oliver Cromwell.

@@thegreatbritishpubcrawl The Royal Blenheim is my favourite. It does Titanic Beers. So that's the place for Titanic Plum Porter. Turf Tavern is good. Jericho Arms and Brewdog too.

Ok. Ratebeer. 13 recommended places. About 55000 people. That's about 1: 4250 people. That ain't bad. I've never been to Banbury amazingly enough. It's worth checking out. Also Tap Social Brewery I love. Their beers are wicked and they use the positivity that's around great beer to help ex offenders' rehabilitation. Their Oxford Taproom is a must visit.
