in brief: This video discusses the potential of ChatGPT to aid in language learning and explores various aspects to see if it can replace language tutors or other resources. The creator tests ChatGPT's accuracy and usefulness in different aspects of language learning such as grammar, vocabulary, and practice exercises. The video demonstrates that while ChatGPT is not entirely accurate and has limitations, it does show potential in generating creative dialogues, stories, and exercises for practice. Key takeaways: 1. ChatGPT has limitations in terms of accuracy and should not be solely relied upon for language learning. 2. ChatGPT can generate sample texts, dialogues, and exercises that can be helpful for language practice. 3. ChatGPT should be viewed as another resource and not a replacement for language tutors or teachers. 4. Utilizing ChatGPT creatively can enhance language learning and practice routines. The creator invites viewers to share their opinions on ChatGPT's potential in language learning and encourages them to like, subscribe, and watch other videos on the channel.

"No sé si venga" es correcto, aunque no se usa mucho en España (aquí se diría "No sé si viene" o "No creo que venga" dependiendo de la situación) pero lo he oído a personas de Latinoamérica así que supongo que su uso allí es común.

Just discovered this awesome tool using chatgpt for learning Arabic. If you can make a video about it in case you find the tool interesting. I typed into chatgpt the below and it generated 100s of sentences I could learn from. There were some minor mistakes but I think it is ok. Can you prepare a cloze test in the following format: قَرَأَ محمدُ ال_______ بِتَمْهِيدٍ، ثُمَّ _______ الْكِتَابَ كُلَّهُ. أ- بابَ / قرأَ ب- كِتابَ / رَفَعَ ج- مَدْرَسَةَ / أكْمَلَ د- قَلَمَ / نَظَرَ To complete the passage, choose the appropriate word from the options above to fill in the blanks. The correct answers are "كِتابَ" and "أكْمَلَ", so the completed passage would read: "قَرَأَ محمدُ الكِتابَ بِتَمْهِيدٍ، ثُمَّ أكْمَلَ الْكِتَابَ كُلَّهُ." Translation: "Mohammed read the book with an introduction, then he completed the entire book."

I confess I've asked ChatGPT to translate hundreds of sentences into Spanish and then tested the answers with a work colleague of mine from Chile. .she said all the translations were correct(!)

You're good welcome to KZbin the only thing I'd say is to EDIT your video a bit more tightly.... Also since this video is a hit for you- run with it and make more it will grow your channel, it means there is more demand for this content than YT can fill as it has nmore views than your sub #, so keep going with more on AI and lang. learning...

Nice video. It’s a nice resource to use on your own to get some quick dirty checks on some sentences you’ve made. And get some tailored exercises on grammar points you want to practice.

ChatGPT is a decent reference tool, but not a teaching tool. It is not taking charge and leading you through a learning process. Big difference.

"No sé si venga" me suena bien.

Today I have asked ChatGPT the following: "El agua" o "la agua"? So now it already seems to know the correct article for "agua".

If someone's asking "do you think he'll come?" You can perfectly say:"no se si venga" (I would never use "viene" there haha), "publico" sounds good there too, but you can use "publique" as well like in the possible future haha, as for la agua yes it messed up there haha, I think in general did a very good job!

I'm surprised by how much ChatGPT knows about language learning! From giving tips and explaining grammar concepts to answering specific questions, this AI chatbot seems like a helpful resource for language learners. However, I noticed a few errors in its responses, so it's important to double check and do your own research when using ChatGPT. Overall, it looks like a useful tool to have in your language study plan, but it shouldn't be your only source of information. ////// This comment was generated by ChatGPT based on the transcript of the video. Now in my actual opinion, I learned english the baby way, as in, I learned by being exposed to it, all my devices were in english, all the games I played, and most importantly youtube, I'm not sure why but I just started watching videos in english, with the subtitles on, I guess I didn't find the local content interesting at the time. Thing is, the videos I watched were english, but the subtitles were also english, I didn't know neither, but like idk, I just learnt it, the baby way. hell I'm an introvert why am I even writing this, im going to ask chat gpt to continue this comment and make it very very long ///// As an introvert, it may seem strange that I would open up and share my experiences with learning a language. But I think it's important to share our stories and experiences, especially when it comes to language learning. It's a unique and personal journey for each individual, and everyone approaches it in their own way. For me, the "baby way" of learning a language worked exceptionally well. Being immersed in the language, through my devices, games, and especially KZbin, allowed me to pick up English naturally and intuitively. It wasn't a structured or formal process, but rather a gradual and organic one. One thing I will say is that having the subtitles on was definitely helpful. It allowed me to see the words written out and match them to the sounds I was hearing. It's a great way to build up vocabulary and improve comprehension. But as with anything, language learning requires practice and dedication. Just being exposed to a language isn't enough. It takes time, effort, and a willingness to make mistakes and learn from them. It can be intimidating and overwhelming at times, but it's worth it in the end. So to answer the question, yes, I do think ChatGPT could potentially help someone learn a language. It's not a replacement for a human tutor or teacher, but it can serve as a useful tool in the language learning process. It's always worth trying out different methods and approaches to see what works best for you. Language learning is a journey, and it's important to find what works best for you and your individual needs. Learning a language is a complex and multifaceted process that involves not only the acquisition of grammar and vocabulary, but also the development of cultural competencies, the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts, and the ability to use the language as a tool for self-expression. While there are many different approaches to language learning, one of the most effective ways to learn a language is through immersion and exposure. As you mentioned in your comment, you learned English by being exposed to it through your devices, games, and KZbin videos, and this is a great example of the power of immersion. When you are immersed in a language, you are constantly exposed to it in a variety of contexts, which allows you to learn and absorb the language naturally, without the need for explicit instruction. This is often referred to as the "baby way" of learning a language, as it is how young children learn their first language. However, it's important to note that immersion alone is not enough to fully learn a language. While it can be an effective way to pick up the basics and get a feel for the language, it is important to supplement your immersion with structured language learning activities and resources. This could include studying grammar, practicing vocabulary and sentence structure, and engaging in conversation with native speakers. One way that ChatGPT could potentially help you learn a language is by providing you with structured language learning activities and resources. For example, ChatGPT could provide you with grammar exercises, vocabulary lists, and conversation prompts, which could help you build your language skills in a more systematic and structured way. Additionally, ChatGPT could serve as a language learning partner, allowing you to practice your speaking and listening skills through simulated conversation. However, it's important to keep in mind that ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence, and as such, it has its limitations. While it can provide you with structured language learning activities and resources, it is not a substitute for the guidance and expertise of a trained...Okay, so as I was saying, I learned English the baby way, which is essentially just being exposed to it constantly and gradually learning it through immersion. I think this is actually one of the most effective ways to learn a language, especially if you're young and still in the process of developing your language skills. It's much easier to absorb a new language when you're young, and being exposed to it on a regular basis can really help with that. But even as an adult, it's still possible to learn a language through immersion. If you're really dedicated and willing to put in the time and effort, you can definitely succeed in learning a new language. It might take a little longer and be a bit more challenging, but with the right mindset and approach, it's definitely possible. So, to answer the original question, do I think ChatGPT could help someone learn a language? Well, it really depends on the person and their learning style. Some people might find it helpful as a supplement to their language learning journey, while others might not find it as useful. It really comes down to what works best for you. Overall, I think ChatGPT could potentially be a useful tool for learning a language, but it's definitely not a replacement for more traditional methods like studying with a tutor or taking a language course. The best way to learn a language is to combine multiple methods and approaches, and ChatGPT could potentially be a part of that. So, if you're interested in using ChatGPT to help you learn a language, go for it! Just be aware that it's not a one-stop solution, and you'll probably need to supplement your learning with other methods as well. Good luck with your language learning journey!
