Good to know that mixing different varieties will not affect their growth/health. Thanks mate.

I know this feeling sir, I agree you need to be strategic when mixing varieties. I personally recommend 2 varieties per pot and love the tagging idea. Be careful when mixing Megalanthus and Undatus in my humble opinion

4 varieties per pot seems pretty extreme, could never get around it.. but i guess it is very space efficient. Is this because if the megs thin and weedy root networks? I had a yellow meg with an ugly old incorrectly named undatus.. seemed to grow ok together, though the undatus had much larger thicker branches which made the trellis a little wonky haha

Great information. Hindsight, I would only plant maximum 2 varieties per pot.

Thanks mate. In a dream world, plenty of space or in the ground would be ideal for each plant.. but who really has the space for that haha

I am sure it depends on what type ,some can take full sun, and some rather a more shady area

Definitely, some are much more hot/ cold resiliant than others, thats another whole video in itself 👍

Ive given up using marking pens and labels both end up going missing ir fading , ive 38 varieties somewhere close to 3000 plants , ive started using a sharpened screwdriver to just break the skin on the mainstem and scratch in the variety initials , within a day it scars over and you have a permanent ID

Interesting approach, sounds cool! Do you ever get any rot or issues with moisture in the groove? Cant rub off a groove haha
