Neebs fort is a great start to a "basement boat dock" Center some support columns and the train station can be "Floor 1" of this high-end resort. You get off the train and head down the stairs in front to access beach and deadly dinosaurs, or enter to Reservations and "relative" safety.

I don't play ASA, so there's a chance it's different, but in ASE a tame on your shoulder doesn't lose food, therefore doesn't need to eat therefore can't starve to death while on your shoulder

@@mistermonstr699 Not really. turrets are pretty unreliable in Ark and would only aggro something that can eat it.. Walls and a Gate would be better. .. something to block LOS to the dinos inside So many Alphas in the area though, they should upgrade from Stone.

@talyn3932 I disagree. Mine kill brontos, Rex's and spinos all the time, and they wont be as common on a raised track where the main issues will pribably be smaller dinos. Just put two or three plant turrets around, put a metal water source nearby and fill it with fertilizer from a dung beetle (which automatically picks up nearby poop all by itself) and you'll be set. Metal turrets of course also work but they require more maintenance in the form of crafting bullets, which becomes a pain to split the metal between that and the tracks for the train.

That makes sense with the death message only saying it was killed. But from the clip, it looked like the shoulder pet had been killed at the same time Appsro shot the rifle. Like his game was glitching, and every time he shot, it was hitting his shoulder pet instead. Maybe the hitbox was overlapping with the rifle's. 🤔 Afterall, it's Ark. Dumb stuff like that happens all the time. 🤷‍♂️

The magnifying glass is one of my favorite tools in the game which super helpful while taming. You can see what their health and torpor is while you are tranquillizing them. This way you don’t accidentally kill them before knocking them out, and you can also see how effectively your draining their torpor. Like if you need to run back to base and grab some more darts, or get a more effective weapon. It will also show you the health of a building, like when you are trying to destroy another players base. Finally, it will show what resources you can harvest, which is great when you want to harvest rare resources like wild mushrooms and rare flowers.
