Did challenges like this before too, mostly in streams on twitch where people had a draw along, where u get a reference and draw it in time. One guy did it in serveral steps with 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes and 120 minutes with another reference for every time limit. At first I got really stressed out as I tried to achieve how I usually draw, just like you did. But thats impossible in time, so you start thinking how to draw, to make it as good as possible. Which details can you drop and which are important. What tools can you use to do some details less detailed, but recognizable anyway. You think, you try and you change how you work on it. And thats an interesting experience. It got more and more fun with every try, because I pressured myself lesser and lesser and discovered more and more... It wasn't important to achieve my usual style anymore, but create a picture that looks nice and finished anyway. Last time is quite some time ago as the streamer doing it, stopped streaming his draw alongs. You encourage me to try something like this again. Maybe by myself for others... would be an idea. Thanks man :D

this is so weird for me because I was always super impatient, so I taught myself to do art quickly. I know I could do a lot better if I took my time, so I've been working on it. I've noticed that when I take my time, the details that I missed when I would do a piece fast, I would catch and fix before finishing it and not being able to fix it. it's super fun to see my progress now that I force myself to slow down. It's going to be a process but I'm doing a lot better now!

hello sam does art, i have two things for you one, on the top hand shes holding him with, if you softened the line art of it (that hand) a bit on the top finger area it might look alittle more like shes holding him, to me it looks alittle like shes holding his arm (sorry if that what you were going for in the first place, ignore that one if that was what you were goin for) and two, for clara (sorry idk how to spell her name) her top half of the body should be alittle longer if you try to go along human anatomy lines (sorry if none of that made sense lmao)
