using a pair of pliers, remove most of the hot glue, then denatured alcohol and a cotton pad removed the extra glue

Acetone works the same as well, but evaporates quickly so your working window is much smaller. The plasticized glue resoftens after the acetone evaporates. And 3/4" tee nuts flattened work well with eye let's. It's slow and requires the metal to be cool, 75 or less is preferable. I'll put a video up in a bit.

Try using dry ice to pull a dent out with. Super freeze the dented area by rubbing the dry ice against the dent to shrink the metal so that the dent pops itself out. Caution! ⚠️ Don't do this at home by kicking your own car in, do your neighbors car. 😁😂🤣
