Wendy is underrated. I mean she's not good, but like, she's still a Knight, you got her to Gilliam level pretty quickly, and then much like Gilliam, she kind of just took over. There are those who will bitch about low move and only use horses and fliers and think all other units are bad, and for those people, Wendy will never seem any good, but for a more reasonable person who cares about the units power. Wendys start is kind of bad, but a little bit of focus on her exp gains and she will be just as good as other knights you're used to.

As expected the early game was the toughest, since Lyn mode doesn't really expect you to have a unit that levels past 12 or so, but man, that early game was indeed tough. Cool strat.

now now, micaiah is actually pretty okay. not good, no, but decent enough. being a mage in tellius may not be the best thing, but it's workable, and her high magic growth + thani is strong enough to be a decent combat unit, plus on promotion she gains staff utility, which is more than i can say for other bad lords like leif, roy, and lyn, who don't have much utility outside of "i kill thing with sword good"

Are you going to start a series where you take all the "bad" units of FE6 and try them out in FE7? Because if so that's cool. I'd also like to see the reverse. Taking units from FE7 and place them in FE6.

FE6 has no lyn mode so this might be impossible for guys like wallace or oswin to do, both of whom cannot wield the binding blade endgame. I can only see the very best fe7 units like canas and raven doing it.

Mekkah did a playthrough with Lyn in FE6 and she was pretty good even with some very bad early levels and using the worst possible version of her base model

Taking a Unit and Solo Lyn mode can actually be very entertaining. Its not hard and u got one dummy thicc unit to pick up in Eliwood/Hector Mode. I personally like to do it with Lyn just to ensure she aint brittle af when i get her but Florina, Kent and Sain are all great Units to funnle EXP into during this Prologue

I do enjoy everyone calling Wendy bad, thus forgetting she has basically wyvern rider growths. It's just that the two wyverns in FE6 are on crack. Also y'know promotion gains on level with the stat bonuses of FE 5 sage And y'know, everyone hating armors because muh move. I honesty think she's over blown on the "worst units front" because she fairly easy to trian abusing triangle attacks and the first giaden. Plus train all 3 armors and you have a triangle attack that could have 27/25 strength behind it! Take that falconknights and your movement!
