This puzzle seems so simple but is actually pretty difficult to solve, even when you know the solution! If you like dexterity puzzles I recommend checking out their other puzzles too! - cruxpuzzles.co.uk/product/venn-puzzle-by-craighill/

If these puzzles were used as cannonballs, the enemy would be having trouble getting their lines together again.
@MadMalkavian5 ай бұрын
YES, DUDE, SAME! I was thinking it the whole time watching te vid 😅
@kairinase5 ай бұрын
@@MadMalkavian there's a Thai movie called "Queens Of Langkasuka" and their cannon technology is super advanced for that time. Apparently, a Dutch scientist and a Chinese scientist joined forces, and they made pretty radical cannons, which were coveted by all parties in the movie. One has a cutter in front of the barrel, that cuts the cannonball into several pieces and making them more deadly... The spherical ball puzzle reminds me of that movie and cannon.
@MadMalkavian5 ай бұрын
Woah That sounds...cool 😃🤯🧐 I must take a look. Btw. What is your opinion about potential use of chain ball in land battles, especially against infantary?
@kairinase3 ай бұрын
@@MadMalkavian sorry for the late reply. Chain shots are going to do it's work wherever it's used, but the question is, would it be ethical? At sea, no one is making the rules, so it's fine; but on land, use it and some higher order would've banned it like they banned crossbows. Out of the records, they might've used it to fight infantry units, especially when it involves a landing party, cause they are the ones who would readily have chain shots available. It's use though, is unrecorded, cause for most navy don't have any scribes. There's also the problems it posed when such shots are used on land... They would hinder the battlefield dangerous for both you and your enemies, due to tripping or trampling caused by the shots. I'd say something like a chain shot, should be left at sea, where it's going to be more useful.

The challenge isn’t how they go back together. The challenge is controlling the weight of the pieces. The pieces of the ball and the brass jack are heavy. So trying to hold them in just the right way and sliding them into place starts making your fingers cramp up after a few minutes of trying. I have the ball and the jack. Love them both. They make great pieces to display on a desk or book shelf.
