My Friend I basically did that last year but driving instead. Drove from ROI to Belfast, ferry to Scotland. Missed Edinburgh unfortunately, but wouldn't have been a huge detour. Then went to Cardiff to pick up a car. Drove down the M25 that counts as London and ended back in Kent at like 1 am
