Hammered, dual trigger doubles have a mechanical romance about them. It's a shame that quality double-barreled shotguns are hard to find for normal prices. They just aren't as popular for sporting as they used to be, despite CAS. It's hard to imagine the days of them being available at your local hardware store with a choice of American and a few European brands. Good on you guys for mentioning that you'll be cleaning up your shells!

Nice! I have a Cimmeron version that _does not_ deform if I let loose with both barrels. Even though it’s a CCP product. It was my apartment self defense shotgun for years. Those two giant eyes are plenty intimidating (way more than charging a pump shotgun). 2 shots is plenty unless you got John Wick level enemies. It will make 1 man into 2 halves at 10 meters.

I like my rice gauge so much, I bought a Stoeger SXS as a backup in case it ever completely breaks or otherwise stops functioning. Take it easy on the stock as the wood isn't the best and replacments are not available. Don't slam-open or slam-close it, stay away from Remington 3" Nitro-Mags, and don't double trigger it and you should be ok. Any of the aforementioned may cause the stock to split or crack up at the receiver. Oh, and don't expect the sling swivels to take much stress either... I mean I very much love my JW-2000, it really is fun to shoot, but it is a complete POS. :) edit: channel subbed..

I am not the biggest fan of Chinese made products but technically Chinese do make great firearms. The Norinco 1911 's are awesome unfortunately you can't get them Anymore except for the use market. . What most people don't know is that the Chinese use scrap metal from train tacks to make their guns. They also bought their steel metal from East Germany when it was controlled by the Soviet Union.

I bought the JW2000 a couple of years ago for CAS. The action is still very tight and can not be considered competitive after the second shot. Wish someone would do a video on smoothing the action.

BTW if you are interested in them, the JW2000 has done well by me for many years, just don't treat it too rough and I'd recommend it. Otherwise you can never go wrong with a higher end sxs

From personal experience; Based on the quaility of the JW2000 shotgun, I assumed that the PRC sporting firearms for the West were manufactured in a prison factory..-- I remember, as a youth, Japanese products before WW2,, Japanesse products had a terrible reputation in the USA. After WW2 & reconstruction, no one in the world can complain about Japanesse manufacturing quaility, unless they are so old and conditioned to be prejudiced. I have not seen this negative bias iaganst Japan ini decades.
