Great vid as always GR! I appreciate you showing the little things that other vid's seems to pass on such as this one. You mentioned in another vid the system you created for attaching the bow of the prowler to the handle of your trailer when removing from the water at the end of the day. Did you make a vid showing how that system works for pulling your boat out of the water? Thanks man!

I have the same trailer and bought some yellow visible balls from Walmart auto section. The extend up and have magnetic bases. Out them on the back of the trailer to see backing up. That is what they are designed for.

I’m looking at trying this until I find a proper boat trailer. Issue is my boat is 5ft longer than the trailer box so it will have to be elevated above the 2ft side walls. This will make using a ramp tricky.

I just bought a new 12ft jon boat so I am now in a similar situation. Haven’t taken it out yet but if I find a good solution I’ll make a vid on it.

You can also buy any of the utility trailers from Harbor Freight or Northern tool. I bought one and built it and put some plywood down on it and covered it with outdoor carpet. Works great.

I’d love to do that to mine. Maybe I can find a small, used cheap one and make those mods. Even jet ski trailers are expensive here

Why not just leave the gate attached and laying as it was…? You could add some rubber padding just to protect the hull before you strap down.
