Can you vlog with Insta360 X3?

My weird vlog with the Insta360 X3. Not really sure if this is the best way to go but I tried it with all modes anyway.

Stop color grading the clips ,do the firmware updates ,,People who don't update the firmware and complain about poor quality get serious how cud other reviewers get better images qualities and u get worst ?update the firmware stop using lense covers,turn off independent exposure verification and use whole 5.7k HDR ,,also stop flipping the less on the sides let them be flat panned

Hello. Thanks for the insight ;). The big problem is the LOG picture profile and the low micro sharpnes. Most people use these cameras for fast moving action shots (as this camera was designed for that) and there you don't notice the lower quality. I'm constantly using it the wrong way with slow or static scenes so there for the issues become apparent. So use it for fast action scenes. Cheers!

The x3 app does not show a "wave form" to edit the silence. Its not really that great for vlogging, as it reuires too much time to search for your speach.

You can actually export a 4k resolution using pc. Don’t use phone when editing

Hello. Yes that's true but it's an upscaled 4k video. It's not sharp because the full 360 is only 5.7k and then you zoom in to more than 300% when reframing. So you end up with around 1080p but upscaled to 4k in export. It just makes the file size bigger but there's no sharpness. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

I've subscribed and hit like. Now for my comment. Of all the vlogs on KZbin, you are the only one not tweaking around with the settings. Everything is on Auto mode. Therefore, this is a very honest review to give the consumer an idea of what you get straight out of the box. Verdict: The consumer still needs to learn how to tweak the settings just like any other camera.

Hello and thank you. Yes you can manually set the settings for exposure and colour but the low resolution remains. I know I'm using the camera somewhat the wrong way since it's an action camera and things should be moving fast in the videos, but I was a bit dissapointed with the quality the first time I've used it. Love the content. Side thought - is a DJI Pocket 1 worth it to buy or should I wait for the pocket 3? I want something to shoot my first vlog with and i travel in 12 hours. Last minute idea to vlog for the first time, just feels right as I travel to India. I can get my hands on a DJI Pocket 1 or.a 2 or for a Sony ZF. Thanks!

Hello. I would actually recommend the DJI Osmo Action 4. This is currently the best action camera out there. I don't have experience with DJI Pocket so I can't really say. Insta360 X3 is very versatile but the video quality is poor. I hope this helps. Have a nice travel. Cheers!
