You could recruit athletes and put them in positions where the overall goes down and makes them a bust.

This was hard to watch haha! Great idea though Perram. Key to getting those busts, especially within the higher overall, is seeing the teams who are recruiting them. Most of your busts are going to be higher/decent overall getting recruited by lower tier schools or NOT being recruited by some of your higher tier schools.

A power 5 transfer would count as a bust to me. If they weren’t they wouldn’t be transferring! Obviously you can’t go back but this was another fun one to watch! If looking for busts find the highest overall players because they typically go down

what I like doing is trying to make a dynasty out of two or three star players I only get one or two f four or five star players the rest one two and three and just see what I can do in a 10 year period the thing is like LSU bama and all those high-end places it's hard to do it cuz you have to get them on the transfer but it's easier on a little grade school

Do a rebuild were you are only allowed two jems for both sides of the ball for a total of 4 everyone else is middle of the road but you can expect all transfers regardless of overall and statuses.

BTW - when I normally go seriously on recruiting and try and get the very best. I look at their role, then their preview ratings. For example, if I see an OL is balanced, but is A Run block, B pass block. You'd assume the run block will come down and make him a bust. So if you look at details like that, you could find OL VERY easily. One thing I'd also look at when looking at WR/CB is speed. You have their 40 time. If it's low, but they're an A speed. That should drop to a B, and that's a key stat in those positions. So that would drop a bit. And maybe when going for CBs, stick to Hard Hitters if you want busts.

Could you start out with a 1 star prestige team and you can only recruit players that have 1 star until you go up in prestige. 4 star prestige = recruit 4 star players etc im curious how long it would take to win a Natty. And if you wanted to make it harder make it where if you are 3 star prestige then you can ONLY recruit 3 star players that way 5-6 star prestige isn’t where you want to be to early since it’s hard to get a good class of only 5 stars
