When I was a young mom, with a three month old that weighed 18lbs, I was in constant workout mode at the grocery store. Back then, I could squat in an isle to pick up something from the bottom shelf and stand back up with my son in one arm and the object in the other. Now, grocery shopping isn't such a workout, but I try to speed walk through the store, just to get out of there.

I think they live in California, in New York even fewer people would have noticed. It's not so much that the people lack judgment, it's more that the people are no longer surprised by what they see and so they keep their heads down. This was all in good fun, so it was easy to roll with, but some things make you want to roll right out of the states where literal mental illness and drug use seems to not only be accepted but government pushed and funded by your tax dollars. Band-Aids are not solutions. Compromises for just a little less bad is not a good idea and only spreads false comfort in their being slightly more safety in risky behaviors. It's just evil. I am thankful for the good people who can make us all laugh and show people there are natural highs and wholesome ways to have fun. Jimmy Darts is another great KZbinr to bring joy.

From my 73 year old mom after I shared this video: We’ll I have to tell you when I went to Costco yesterday morning I did start my iPhone exercise app. But I wasn’t quite as successful as the lady in the video. It kept asking me if my workout was done every time I stopped to look at an item. Thanks for sharing this. I love this couple and their humor.

@Joy Mulholland Peoples My neighbor down the hall helps me with that, because she knows lifting heavy items hurts my back. First she and I carefully put them on the floor together. Then I sit on the floor and and divide each package into at least three parts and then put the divided package in the cabinet/fridge/freezer. That way I'm not breaking my back all the time. Even though she's old she hardly ever has back problems.

I never bothered with a gym when my kids were young (and we got lots of stuff at Costco.) Between lugging those huge packs of whatever, and various household chores, I worked out plenty. (Never mind lifting and carrying the actual kiddos!) This was fun and inspiring. 😃👍

For salmon seasoning, I highly recommend the "Everything But The Bagel" seasoning at Trader Joe's. It's fantastic with a little olive oil and lemon juice - bake for 12 min....and there you go!

Lol Costco is always a work out! We fill our cart! We don’t live right next to one so we only go occasionally. So our cart is heavy and we have to push it all around the store! 🛒

I recently got a job at Smith's as a courtesy clerk, and I honestly consider it my workout. I mean, I get cardio, strength and endurance training, and a full body workout. I work up a sweat, especially when I'm on the lot collecting the carts. The only exercise I don't get at Smith's is swimming. So I go to the gym to swim and maybe stretch a little bit. But for everything else I get a full workout at work. And I get paid for it.

The Trader Joe's Citrusy Garlic blend is amazing too, and you can put it on just about anything. I grilled some of the swordfish steaks with that on top a couple days ago and it was a super delicious easy dinner.

For our elementary school’s Jog-A-Thon, I would load up on cases of water on a flatbed. Holy smokes, trying to get that thing moving was basically CrossFit. Actually, CrossFit is basically doing chores, so a Costco shop fits the bill. And we like Kinder’s All Purpose Seasoning for everything. Fish, meat, and veggies, it all works.

Hahaha! Our Costco is called Pricemart. I had to laugh when I saw this because I just returned home from my “Pricemart workout”! Spent 2 & 1/2 hours walking through the store, lifting things into the cart the entire time. And pushing the cart was definitely part of the overall routine! When we were done I got the job of loading the car so my daughter could nurse my month old grand baby! I sorely regret not wearing my workout watch, Lord knows I could have used the credits! Hahaha, I used to live very close to a Costco...I was also in much better health then. I remember those water pallets...they were even heavy for me when I was in my mid 30s 😀. (Hank Hill voice) Careful with those propane tanks Bobby, feet to head we're all dead 😆. That Costco reminded me of the one I used to shop in. But it was in my state. I have been in NC many times, but it was near Fort Bragg to visit friends. (Fayetteville)

Costco is a workout! I usually dread carrying the heavy things into my home. Some of my babies were fussy and I would carry their car seat on my arm with them in it while pushing the cart at the same time. That was a workout for sure!
