My wife and I are leaving high-tax Illinois, especially property tax, restaurant tax (10% in Champaign county!), and estate taxes. We have searched Hamilton and Boone counties extensively and plan to move in 2024 and rent in IL to visit family. So, looking forward to your next video on this subject. In my Champaign neighborhood, 4 of our five closest neighbors have moved out of state…one each to Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas. To be honest, the wealthy can afford to move…and they are…out of Illinois.

We've noticed there is a large population of people just like you leaving Illinois and moving into Indiana.
