The weather and the swing of the seasons bring a sense of time and a rhythm to life. Also much appreciated variety. Hot days at the beach, dramatic sky and comfortable temps in fall. The harvest. The coloured leaves. The cozy indoors of winter, the winter sports and hobbies. Then spring. Birds suddenly back and noisy. Things waking up. Smell of fresh dirt and pollen. Strawberries on the way. Then back to summer. Mmmm fresh corn and water melons.

We would welcome you and your family to Canada anytime, if you would decide to move here... Haha! It would have been nice to meet you; maybe someday. I'm not from downtown Montreal, but from a neighboring town a few minutes away. I'm happy to hear that you seemed to enjoy your stay in Montreal. I remember that you also speak some French, right? We all know you deserved a nice vacation. Come back again anytime Alex!

20'c and overcast is my prefered temps, any hotter is to hot. If i had sunny weather all the time i would go mad, i love rainy windy days in between. The snow in the winter is nice, belive it or not in the end of the summer im tired of nice weather and im ready for winter and snow. In the spring im tired of snow and cold and ready for summer. So its perfect! I live in Norway.

Thank you for your kind comments about Canada. I think most of us feel very proud to live here. I was borne in Nova Scotia and have lived here most of my life. You mentioned the weather. When I was a child we shovelled snow every day in winter. Most of the winter the snow banks on the sides of the road were 5 or 6 feet high (I Have Photos). Climate change has changed that. Last year we shovelled snow 3 times and to be honest we probably didn’t have to. It was less that 6 inches deep. Summer was summer and winter was winter and you new how to prepare for it. Now we never know what to expect. Most of the time it rains and then freezes and then thaws and rains again. You use to be able to bundle up and go outside and do things. You can’t do that in freezing rain. That stuff will kill you. Summers are much longer now and storms are stronger. Your right about the people. I travelled a bit with the military when I was young and Canada has the friendliest people I have ever met. So about California. When young Canadians leave this country for adventure they usually head for California. It is the only place in the U. S. that I have ever considered visiting. Maybe it’s the attraction of the warm climate or the history of the state which I find fascinating. Well Thanks for another great video and I’m glad you had a good time in Canada and I hope you come again. Every province has something unique.

You may pin this comment. I lived in Brazil, Finland, France, and now Quebec Canada. I can tell you those impressions that people are nice, it's all true. Life here is just so sweet. And Im not a fff ruch person, just a normal dude. Me and my fiancee (from France) are both incredibly happy here. An yeah that humidity sucked but know that it's extremely unusual. Normally we have low humidity here.

I live in Southern Ontario very near L. Ontario and the humidity is brutal on many days in the summer. In the winter during a cold snap especially if it is windy, the cold is numbing. Our government right now is very oppressive but it's true that the people are friendly and reasonable. I would expect the people of California to be friendly as well, although I haven't had the pleasure of visiting California yet.

I lived in California for a brief period, around 3 to 4 years, and the aspect I cherished the most was the weather. It was delightful residing in a place where winter was not a concern; I often referred to it as an extended spring in California. I truly miss it. Living in a region with snowy and cold winters can be quite challenging, to say the least. I'm currently working towards relocating to Florida, although I am aware that the summer months there can be quite humid. Adjusting to the humidity is something I will need to embrace if I decide to make the move.

Hi Alex, It's great to hear what you had to say about Canada. Myself being from Surrey, BC is also a great place to live or visit. s living here as I have always had pleasant conversations with the people and even the RCMP are very nice. I have always thought that you get what you give, that applies in all aspects of relationships. Cheers! PS I should add that Canada in my opinion is somewhat safer as there are far less guns, I have never even seen a pistol other than the police. You can own rifles but you must have a FAC license and you can't just take them out with you or keep them in your truck, unless your in the mountains hunting and once again you need a license. Gang activity is limited and is in Vancouver. But yes our weather is unpredictable.

It's important to note we nationalized electricity in Québec and it's why we pay 0.06$ CAD / kWh along with the luck of having so much water. It cost about 3.5$ to recharge my electric car for around 300 to 400 km depending on the conditions (highway vs city vs offroad). More or less 17 times less costly than gas if we ignore the cost of the battery.

If the skies are clear the temperature drops substantially at night in most places in Canada. Due to climate change the last 7-8 years have been quite smoky in the hot summer months and even a light haze will trap the heat in at night and make it feel more humid or muggy.
