Depends which area of Canada you’re going to. In Canada, websites usually mention whether a particular jacket is good for 0 degree or -20 degree celsius. So check the details properly.

Wow ..two bags and a mini bag? When I moved I came with a carry on bag that I checked in and a backpack. It's better to buy everything in the city/town you move to. I have moved three countries and always prefer to buy clothes , electronics etc etc locally. If I need to return or exchange something it makes it easier. Plus better to buy clothes that's right for the place.

You can easily get Wheat Flour in Canada so don't bring it from India and I did bring knife in my suitcase.
