I know Piet Arion uses some tuning effects and pitches in his songs and covers, but I hate the people who says that he can not sing. I believe that he is a really good singer, maybe not live and didn't deserve so much hate. Surely no one can top Dimash, but Piet did an awesome job and create a nice lovely cover.

Considering the level of respect and encouragement Dimash shows for other singers, it's disheartening how few of his big fans actually take after him in that way. Like, Piet clearly has a lot of respect and admiration for Dimash, and this cover, where he did his own thing with the song, was a clear reflection of that. And it was also such a beautiful way to see how far he's gotten with his whistle notes, as he's been refining them for years. And, to see all the hatred going towards him, not because of anything he did, but because Dimash stans aren't as open-minded as their idol. Piet did an amazing cover of the song, but instead of appreciating it for what it is, people just compare it to Dimash, just to say it's not as good. That's like someone doing a cover of an Elvis Presley song, as tribute to an artist they greatly appreciated and got inspired by, and people going "You're not as good as him though." Like, what good does that do?

People are so mean to him, when he clearly stated he did it in Dimash’s honor, since he is a huge fan. Dimash’s dad recognized his cover and I’m pretty sure Dimash has also seen it. It is so sad how Dimash fans have decided to attack Piet so viciously just because he sang a song that Dimash has performed. Had Piet been a mediocre singer, the “dears” would have moved on but, piet sang it very well and so the dears went on the attack. I have noticed that this same bunch of no nothings seek out every channel that reacts to piet so they can spread their hate everywhere. If they don’t like this performance then why do they go to great lengths to find every place that listens to piet so they can ;plant their nasty mouth BS against a young man who is not out to compete with anyone. This whole attitude about this being a studio version and dimash’s offering is live. You are all lacking knowledge about auto tune. No, you too can not sound good with auto tune. You see,you have to be able to hit the note regardless. Auto tune is designed to check and correct any pitch problems and so on. Everyone uses auto tune in the studio as well as other sideboard equipment. I must add, go listen to piets first KZbin offering, “The Long And Winding Road” a Lennon/McCarthy song. Piet sang this song when Dimash was about twelve years old. Piet was singing like this then. I have been in the studio with Piet and boy can he sing. His first two original singles, In My Daydream” and “Is This Real” will be released 6-8 weeks from now, around may first. You will see Piet live in the near future.

Dimash inspires people all over the world - they paint, draw, do various beautiful things and sing covers of his songs. And we love it. They are beautiful, such as Rimar, Jomy, Leo Cantro, Caleb Coles ( beautiful sos ) and many others. Beautiful, real songs. This one is unfortunately a mix of voice and technique. Sure, you can have such a hobby. But you can't compare the two. Maybe you should look for a video where Piet sings SOS live on stage and then react. I will watch with interest.

Piet Arion is a fan of Dimash's. He makes clear he admires and respect so much him that his intentions are not to surpass Dimash at all. He did a great job is this one, but it is clearly heard that he used especial audio effects. This beautiful song: "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" was written almost 20 years before Dimash Qudaibergen was born, but those who have heard him singing it know that he definitely made it his own. Its authors Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon never knew who they were going to finally compose it for 'cause no one can take it away from this wonderful Kazakh man any more.

The sound is edited yes. But i garantee you couldnt sing like this with autotune. Studio editing is not THAT miraculous, you can correct pitches off by 1 or 2 semitones, 3 in extreme cases, any more than that the editing becomes extremely obvious, like those Will.I.Am "performances"(if you can call it that). Indeed this guy couldnt come close to this live, but with the benefit of trying each part several times in studio he can come pretty close, otherwise he could not record it like this. Pointing out that this is a studio recording with editing is fine, but to pretend this guy is a talentless bum is clearly idiotic.

I just have to correct you, everything is certainly not possible in the studio. You can not make a non voice turn into an amazing voice, that’s just some mis information coming from the know nothing haters. They are hell bent on trying to destroy piet because he is good. For some reason, they are terrified that someone might knock Dimash of his pedestal. These haters are the ones who put Dimash on that pedestal. I feel sorry for both of these singers. Dimash doesn’t want to be put on a pedestal.
