The reason he beat the case tho wasnt because he was found not guilty but the first trial the prosecutor fell ill so jury was discharged and then the 2nd trial the jury failed to reach a verdict and were discharged. this led to a hearing to decide if the case would be heard again for a third time and it was decided it wouldnt be

I'm a busker, I've lived in Toronto, played guitar on the street, performed at many multi-genre open stages, lived in a tent in the Don Valley... I had numerous encounters with street rappers and people in the scene, and I had friends who were involved in the 'king of the dot' battle rap scene. Jane and Finch is not a bad area, the people killing each other are only killing each other, mind your business and they mind theirs, if you hear gunshots, don't go looking around to see where they're coming from, just keep walking and look a different direction.
